Remarks

The college is surely on a progressive track and is including more and more facilities for the students and staff. It even encouraged students to opt for add-on courses which might be helpful in times to come. The auditorium though needs to be renovated.

Entrance Preview

I took almost all good engineering college enterances teats but couldn't crack as high. As my percentage in my class 12h were good, I took admission in this college on meeting the college's cut off range.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It's much similar to that of B.Tech in Computer Science but surely not as thorough. It's good , understandable and manageable. Some subjects or topics may turn out to be boring but it's a course where you require the ability to understand and not just mug up.

Internships Opportunities

No , our college does not provide internships but lately a placement cell has been formed for providing jobs and internships to the students.

Placement Experience

3.5

Till last year there was not a single committee or cell for providing jobs or internships ir placements. The first placement cell formed was for the session 2017-18 and has surely performed quite well. Internship fair and hob fair were also organized by the placement cell.

College Events

4

There are many socities in the college , academic, departmental, street play, dramatics, dance, singing , etc and all are allowed to hold inter-college fests. Our college also organizes annual function, called Lehren, but only non-participant girls are allowed in case of entry of other students into the college. Girls are allowed and boys , who are participants are only allowed

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since the college is a government college, the fees of all the courses are comparatively less when compared to other private colleges. The fee structure is feasible and also provides good infrastructure and services as per the structure. The fee can be as low as Rs 2000 for an year or as high as Rs 28000 for an year, depending upon the course.

Fees and Financial Aid

There have been various scholarships for students belonging to lower financial backgrounds. There are even scholarships in the field of academics or all rounder or even best student amongst various courses. We keep receiving notifications about other types of schilarship that a student can avail.

Campus Life

4

The campus is fine. There's a good library where one can have their time with books , a gymnasium, nescafe booth and a sport's room from where you can take any required material and have your time. Since it is a girl's college so the gender ratio for girls remain 1. However there are male reachers and staff members too . There is a good debating society called, Mantrana , a street play society, Raqs, and group dance society(western), fashion society- Fashionista and Karma who have brought laurels to the college.

Hostel Facilities

4

There is no hostel of the college and so you have to look out for PGs in the locality. But you do not need to worry as the loaclity, East Patel Nagar and even West Patel Nagar are a hub for the same. The rent is also quite affordable and depends upon the requirements of the student.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is somewhat weak. Though all the seniors we've met, across all the courses, have been generous and humble enough to guide our journey in the college. For my entire three years of experience and learning in this college, I did not come across any bullying or ragging case in the college, neither have heard any such incident of past.

Exam Structure

We have mid-semester examinations as well as annual examinations. Marks are even separated or kept aside for assignments. 5 marks are kept for attendance on meeting a particular criteria. Mid-semester examinations pattern was rolled in by the college in 2016.

Admission

Kalindi College is a part of one of the most popular and prestigious universities of India, University of Delhi. As everyone may know, the University releases one common admission form in which you can initially opt for as many courses as you want and once the cut-off lists are out for various colleges and courses in them , then one gets admission in a particular course of a particular college by meeting the cut-off range .

Faculty

4

In my personal opinion, my department's faculty is pretty good and very motivating. They try to help out students not only in academics but also in other lessons of your life. They can be your mothers , friends or just good mentors. The faculty members have good knowledge and are able to deliver as well to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanna be a software engineer so that's why I'm pursuing this degree . actually I wanna do b tech but it seems quite expensive and I can't even efforts it . And also I've some courses in computer science that increases my interest in this field so yeah ????. My clg is good but most of the university don't even know how the tech is evolving how they have to prepare for students and not everything you'll learn through clg right? You've to put your own efforts so that you can know what's the skills that you've to learn. That basically stand out to differently in that field. Overall clg is good fine but the thing that we have to know is to upskill our skills and prepare for ral world scenarios . And I don't want to change the teaching methods and all but yeah they should have to focus real world scenarios rather than just teaching academic stuffs.and frequency of exams I don't even feel it cuz that's my first sem so I don't know much . But I think exams are tough

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.
