Remarks
The college was near to home, also it had a history of good campus placements. The college has pretty good infrastructure. The collaboration with IT companies was also good which provided me opportunity to intern under HCL and visit Singapore in my final college years being sponsored by HCL.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus was as upto the standards of the university. In the final year, we had many guests lecturers from some elite universities. Apart from that, a good focus was also given to students' soft skills training. The faculty was ok, with just few with actual industrial experience. Mr. Gyan Singh, Mr. Sachan were good in particular.
Internships Opportunities
HCL Noida, Intern, no stipend. HCL held a test where the top scorers were given the opportunity to intern under HCL.
Placement Experience
The annual job fair was attended by major companies like Microsoft and HCL. Many students were placed from campus placement on fair packages. We do have an alumni group where the alumni let know of any job opportunities available in their companies.
College Events
The college held annual event Tarang where students get a chance to showcase their creative side. Also, there are cricket and football tournaments held on Annual basis. Biannually, the college held science events where students from other colleges also took place. The job fair was conducted at the end of every session.
Campus Life
The campus boasts a full fledged library with adequate seating. The computer labs were also standard according to the time. The whole campus is centralised AC with theater like seating arrangement in classrooms. The canteen was subpar and not bosted too many choices.
