Remarks

College is good if you don't want the problem of attendance and you want o pursue other specialised courses. The subjects are easy. You can participate in various events. Teachers are helpful. The downside is there is no campus life. Very less interaction with seniors. No internship or projects. No worthwhile placements.

Entrance Preview

I chose B. Com because i was not sure what i wanted to do after my graduation and everybody told me to for gujarat university affiliated college as it is considered as reputed degree.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The B. Com course at any gu college is as good as you would expect from a low budget college. Even though it has great reputation but that reputation is only limited till Ahmedabad. If you are looking for a course which involves research and various projects then don't even think about getting into any of the gu colleges. But if you are looking to go for a course like ca or icwa then this college is the best option.

Internships Opportunities

They don't provide any internship but you are free to find internship on your own. They will not stop you from doing extracurricular activities outside the college.

Placement Experience

1.5

Placements and job opportunities are the same as you would expect from a normal not that well known B. Com college. Not that great but if you are looking for something temporary then they are good. Placements are not 100% and not everybody tries to go for them as the job profile is not up to the mark for some people but if you only need to work for several months before you start doing something else like masters then it's alright.

College Events

1

There are various events celebrated in hacc. The most prominent is youth fest which includes participants from every gu college of Ahmedabad. There are other social events like swachta event and safety event etc. You can visit the official site of HACC to know more about the events and programmes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is maybe the lowest in all over India and probably the world as well. For boys it is around 1600 rupees and for girls around 900 rupees. You will have to pay the fees at the starting of every semester. You will receive the receipt alongwith the materials for soft skill subjects.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no need for any loan as the fees is the minimum a college can charge and they don't provide any scholarship for the course but they do provide scholarship for higher studies.

Campus Life

1.5

There is no campus life in HACC if you are doing any specializedcourse and don't attend college much often. There are various sports competition and various extracurricular competitions. But there are no clubs for these activities, you have to prepare yourselves for the competition but teachers would also help you from time to time.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

There are no hostel facilities and there is no mess. You have find a pg or any other means for your staying purposes. There is a canteen in the college and it is a joint canteen of HACC and GLS. But you don't have to worry about the lodging issue as college would also help you and there are numerous flats and pg available for students to accommodate.

Alumni/Alumna

As this college is mainly attended by people doing ca or icwa you don't come across seniors much often but if you try to interact with your seniors you will feel that they are very helpful and just like how you would expect them to be.

Exam Structure

Exam structure comprises of internal exams and external exams for 6 semesters i.e three years. Apart from that, you will be given assignments which are not at all difficult you just have to write the answers to some questions that's it. There will 7 main subjects in external exams and there will 9 subjects in internal exams which will include 7 main subjects and 2 soft skills.

Admission

First you have to register yourself with he gujarat university. Then you have to fill an online form and then that form has to verified by taking a printout of that form to your nearby g u affiliated college. Afyer you have to wait for the results and after the results if you are not happy then you can apply again for second round and you don't have to again go through all his procedure.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty of hacc are fairly good considering the type of students you see in gu colleges. The teachers are highly educated and they teach really well if you actually attend the lectures. They will help with your studies and also solve your other doubts. They actually provide you guidance not only for your studies but also for your future.

The highest package being 5.5 lacks and the average being 3 lacks while the median being 2.7 lacks. The total offers made in 2025 are approximately around 50 to 60. Profiles offered are marketing and accounting and maybe 50 to 70 percentage students being placed and rest being at their own. My plans after this course is to countinue further studies in the same field
