Remarks

The overall management of this college is good. Not a huge campus of this college but still a big place for gaining knowledge

Entrance Preview

Mh cet - 141, took chemical engineering since I could not manage to get into udct I opted for the same field of chemical in this college. But then from this college also I got placed in the company which came for udct.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum designed was really good. All the subjects required for the chemical engineering field were included. Practical as well as theory subjects are there. Not only related to technical subjects but business skills development was a plus point. Electives of many subjects such as material science, nanotechnology, environmental engineering, computational fluid dynamics were offered which gave a vast range of choices for future studies as well.

Internships Opportunities

Officially as per Mumbai University, there is no such pattern of an internship. But for the requirement of our chemical engineering field. Also an added advantage with companies and for further studies, our faculties gave us the opportunity for internship. Almost 30 students got an internship in good companies such as BARC, blast turbo, aarti industries, Aker solutions, jacobs, etc

Placement Experience

3

Being the placement coordinator of our batch clear picture Placement of the 2016-2017 batch is as follows: There were 30-35 students interested for the job of which around 20 were placed. 1. Two of them.in Jacobs 2. Two of them in VA Tech Wabag 3. Three of them in Reliance petrochemical 4. Two of them in TATA projects Than in SNC lavalin, edelweiss, etc

College Events

4

Trinity the biggest fest of our college as the name suggest Trinity it means three fests were clubbed in this that is cultural sports and technology. Other than this department fest and conferences were also organized where students can showcase their research papers such as Clean India, Indian Desalination, etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

As compared to other Mumbai Universities college it's higher. But worth it because of placements. It was around 1,15,000 per year. But affordable. Mostly Gujarati businessmen children come to this college. I would suggest going to this college not a bad option

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship was there but only for the ones who would be the topper of the year. Not for everyone. TATA, NORTHAM, etc these scholarships we're available The availability of loan than any bank would sponsor.

Campus Life

4

Campus life was too amazing. Majority of the students were Gujaratis. But the environment was really nice. The gender ratio varied from field to field. Like in computer science, IT, elex field almost girls to boys ratio was 50-50, whereas in the chemical field it was 25-75 and in mechanical field hardly one or two girls were there in the entire batch.

Hostel Facilities

3

There was no hostel or mess facility. But in the area, it's easy to find any hostel or pg Food in the canteen is of good quality. Many varieties of food. The wide range of menu was there at canteen from chole bhature to continental and Indian meals all at affordable rates

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network was good. Seniors were very helpful in selecting project guide, project topics, placements, company contacts etc

Exam Structure

Exams were as per Mumbai University pattern. In each semester two midterms and then the final exam. preparatory leave was available. The timetable was not really hectic. Labs were almost 3-4 days a week for 3 hours. Labs were quite interesting as well.

Admission

The admission process was different than DTE for this college in 2013. A separate form is released and cap round takes place. No caste or category only open and Gujarati category. The admission process was fair enough. Unlike different govt colleges where even 100 marks CET scorer getting the same field as 185 marks scorer.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties we're really got in terms of their knowledge and method of conveying except one or two. Difficult subjects like process controls and dynamics were also taught very well. The professors were masters or doctorate completed. And very professional

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.
