I chose this course in textile technology with my interest as I wanted to gain knowledge in the vast spectrum of this field. The faculty-to-student ratio here is 10:60, each and every subject has a specific faculty allocated for better clearance. The faculties here are well qualified with PHD degree and years of industrial exposure with years of teaching experience. The teaching method here is embedded with practical hands-on activities on machines etc. with the projector system smart class for good understanding. The term exams were timely with one mid and final exam and the level of difficulty was moderate and covered the basic fundamentals for good knowledge.

The fee structure and the cost of studying are very cheap and affordable here, also for female candidates the fees are nominal and less. The opportunity of scholarship and financial assistance is provided by the college and various other governmental policies for helping underprivileged students in their studies And internship and job, it is provided on campus in reputed companies like Reliance, Welspun, Arvind, and other industries with decent stipends provided.

The social and cultural life of LDCE is one of the best as there are various annual and monthly fests conducted like LAKSHYA which is an annual youth fest, THANGAAT the authentic garba fest on a very large scale, and numerous other fests. The library is equipped with various books on all topics and subjects and up-to-date journals for all round development of students. The classrooms are available with smart class projectors, good benches electricity supply, and drinking water and toilet facilities. The college has a dedicated team for various sports like cricket, table tennis, badminton, kabaddi, football, and basketball, etc., also it has its own ground for all the sports and every year college takes part in GTU sports fest, and results with flying colors. There are around 18 - 20 clubs on the campus ranging on topics from space and tech, sports, management, culture, robotics, etc. and have won many competitions and awards as a team.

admission process was quite long with several rounds. I took the entrance exams of JEE and GUJCET to crack the eligibility for admission. The eligibility for the course is that one should have opted for PCM i.e.; physics, chemistry, and maths for the 12th studies and should have secured at least 45% or above respectively.
