Remarks

Every departed of the college is very managed and organised. Students are informed timely about all the details necessary and needed. I have a great experience in the college and cannot expect for anything better.

Entrance Preview

I took entrance exam for ELMCH and scored 160 put of 200. It is one of the best colleges in UP and ranks 11th in India for undergraduate degrees.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It is great to be a part of this college and to pursue medical. It is one of the best undergraduate courses one can pursue. Era provides a good exposure to experiment your skills and it has many labs for researches in different subjects. Every year a bunch of students can also present their researches and get certificates for there performances .

Internships Opportunities

Yes it provides internship and general stipend starts from Rs 5000 to are 10000. The experience is great.

Placement Experience

4.5

Every year Era medical college Lucknow gives a bunch of best doctors in UP and also ensures best jobs and placement. Every year a batch of 150 doctors pass out from the university. They carry a great experience and have job opportunity in era and other hospitals too.

College Events

3

There is a yearly sports meet which is an inter college fest which includes all the sport activities. Fest for both cultural and sports are held every year which is infra college and students from other college come and participate in it. Besides it many small events regarding new researches and technology in medical field is also held which help us learn better such as conferences.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When I was admitted in the college the tuition fees was 10 lakh per annum But since now the college is affiliated to AIPMT exam hence the fees is 18 lakh per annum. Plus the hostel fees was 1.5 lakh per annum when I joined the college and now it is increased to 3 lakh per annum. But I believe that it is appropriate according to the quality of academics they provide.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there are scholarship available in the college. Era Lucknow medical university is a Muslim minority college hence it encourages the minority group of Muslims in India that is Shia community to study and grow. Hence the college provide scholarship to Shia students on the basis of a test held on questions based on Quran principles.

Campus Life

3.5

There is generally 3:2 ratio of girls:boys. All kind of sports activities are held. Though there is a single ground for cricket and football but it is always made sure to be well maintained and grasses are regularly trimmed. There is a separate basket ball court for boys and also a basket ball court inside the girls hostel. Two nets are well placed for badminton and also there is a ground for volleyball. Inter college competitions are held too to increase the spirit of the students and encourage them to get better in the particular sports.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel faculties are very coordinated. There are guard posts at every corner of the college. There are different guards for night and day shifts to ensure the proper security of the students. The food is also good and they provide all the meals including breakfast lunch and dinner with evening snacks and tea for all 7days a week.

Alumni/Alumna

Since the college was established in 2000 so there is no alumni batch yet and hence cannot comment on the alumni network but a lot of senior students are in my contact and have a very healthy relationship with them.

Exam Structure

The exams are timely held and appropriately held for us to learn better. The exams depends on the which year the student is. But on general, there are class tests held for every subject which are added in the internal assessment then there are terminals which is basically semester end which ate also included in the internal assessment and then there is a pre professional held to prepare the students for the professional exams. These exams are very helpful to learn better and perform better for the final year end exams.

Admission

I had to appear for an exam conducted by the college itself. I scored above the cut off marks. Then I received a call letter from the college. I had to give a final interview to clear for the admission. Then there was a medical test which included all the vitals and general check ups were done to ensure that i was well sound. Then I was allotted hostel room and given 3 days orientation for making things easy.

Faculty

4

The facility is one of the best in UP. Most of them are government qualified teachers with great experiences and helps us a lot in performing better. They take efforts to bring out best in us. They make sure that regularly classes are held and a proper power point presentation for every subject is provided to the students. They also make sure that tests are taken regularly to make us learn better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When I was in 2nd class then on report card I have to write which is your aim in future or what you want to become in future . Then there I I choose that I want to become a doctor and from then I I have dream that I become eligible doctor . Second doctor is very noble profession and it is my honour that I am serving the people and save the lives of the people . This profession teaches me a lot like how to cope with the situations and how to react very quickly in every situation . It help us to improve our skills and also our mental health and makes a strong mentally and emotionally .. I should suggest that there is a improvement in online lectures also provided for the MBBS course because there is little bit difficulty in the college to go there and study there because some scarcity of faculties in the college so qualitative education is not provided as it should be provided. The MBBS course offers four exams which are little bit hard to clear and there is little difficulty in clearing the exam. The timing of the exam is from 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m.. The terminal occurs at the gap of 3 months while the pre professional exam and the professional exam occur at the gap of 1 month.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was my dream destination career wise to choose MBBS . MBBS connects you to life and death the two most important aspects of being a human on this planet . Having a power to cure someone and make people smile and live again with health is something else. As in our India the population to doctor ratio is very less hence it's important for the young generation to understand and evaluate the decision of serving the country this way. MBBS is dream for many but reality for very few students all over the country. But the people reaching here face toxic culture also , as prestigious it is as disturbing sometimes it becomes , people over here do not understand the mental health of others So this aspect should be taken in to care and medicos should be handled with care by the society, government and also the seniors . The exams are big rat race , but it's really satisfying as a reader as you get to study and read a lot about medicine . So choose MBBS but not toxicity make your mind that you ll make it beautiful for yourself and also for your batchmates and juniors as well .
