Campus is good. Cantine availability is there.
Class rooms are good and library is available.
Faculty is good. Exam is taking properly.

Campus is not too big . Lift problem is there.
In college there is a network connection problem in basement and in library.
Some subjects teaching is not good. Some subjects faculty should improve.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have been admitted to the branch of Electrical Engineering. I am interested in electrical engineering. The faculties are average in our college. Teaching is good. Some subjects teaching is good. The university exam is timely. Passing is not too difficult to pass.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 58500 per year

Internships Opportunities

The workshop is there in college. The internship is available after 3rd and 4th years. College is good for placement. The college provides the intership for the students. Many projects and cultural programs are there in the college. College provides a platform for the artists.

Placement Experience

At the end of the 3rd year and in 4th year students are placed by the college. College placement is good. The average package of placement is 500000. Above 90 % of students are getting placed by the college. The highest package is above 40 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of college are not too high as compared to other colleges. But other fees like clothes for college, study materials, etc. are costly. I got the OBC reservation because of the fee structure of the college. College is good for placement purposes.

Campus Life

The campus is good but not too good as compared to other colleges. The Library is available but there is a network connection problem. Sports are there like cricket, football, and chess. Indoor and outdoor games. Cultural programs are also there. But these all are available after 2nd year.

Admission

The addmission process is better. Admission is done through the cap round. I have taken the Jee main and CET entrance examinations. Score is JEE-79.93% and CET -- 90.62% . I have been admitted to the branch of Electrical Engineering. Improvement for the addmission process that the site link should develop.

An Honest Review

Placement Experience:

The Campus placement of VNIT Nagpur is good enough. Students of 7th and 8th semesters are elegible for campus placement. Many companies visited in the campus some prominent names were google, Microsoft, amazon, Goldman Sachs, and many core companies such as bajaj, HPCL,BPCL etc. the number of offers made was 760 in 2024 and placement percentage was around 80 percent.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

Life at DIT Pune

I had applied to many colleges in the city but due to the high cut off i got selected here. But getting into this college was not any way lesser. They accept jee mains and mah cet.The admission was in 3 rounds They have cutt off around 89 percentile in jee mains and for cet it was 93 . So technically you need a good score in either jee or cet to get admission in computer science...Read More
