A great college to learn and explore - IIT Patna

The course curriculum and faculty here are great. I chose this course as I was getting a circuital branch in 2nd gen IIT. The faculty-to-student ratio here is 1:30. Faculty members are all highly qualified and Ph.D.s from reputed institutions. The exams took place after 2 months and it was not that difficult to pass.

Companies like Google, Microsoft Amazon, Intel, Samsung, and sprinkler visit our campus for SDE, core, analyst, and product management roles with stipends varying from 20k to 1 lakh per month. Projects on various ai ml are helpful.

Students become eligible for internships in 3rd year and for placements in 7th semester. Last year a total of 162 companies visited and no. Of the offers made were 400+. Popular companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Intel, and Samsung visited our campus. The highest package last year was 82lpa by Atlassian whereas the average package is 24 lpa. Placements percentage varies between 85-90 percent. My plan after getting my degree is to get a job in a good MNC.

The fee structure here is around 2.8 lakh per year including every amenity which is a bit high considering it's a government institute. There are a few scholarships here most prominent being a waiver of tuition fees if family income is less than 1 LPA and 2/3 remission on tuition if income is less than 5 LPA. Campus placements here are way too good.

Life at campus is quite bustling as every other day there is some event or meet happening. Our annual fest is Anwesha. And the technical fest is celesta also there is a sports fest infinito. The library here is quite well stacked up with journals and books and availability is also fine. Classrooms here are also good each having board projectors and Ac's. Sports facilities here are quite good as there is dedicated space for every sport from cricket to squash with adequate amenities. There are a lot of social groups running on Instagram like inside.iitp , iitpatna_studentlife. Also, there are a lot of clubs from cultural to technical including aria,exousia,njack, etc.

Students who are appearing or passed the 12th class can apply for the jee exam. The entrance exam to my institution was jee advanced. Applications can be accessed on the official jee advanced website or nta website. To write jee advanced one has to clear jee mains first.
