Remarks

No bad remarks are there. It is very good. It has a very good college management.Placements rate is a low other than that nothing else seemed to be bad their.

Entrance Preview

i took comedk entrance examination. i don't remember how i scored in it but i joined this college because i heard they were well known college for electronics and communication engineering which i opted for studying and pursue my career in.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

it was very good. Electives I opted for c++ in 7th semester and GSM and so on in the 8th semester. Overall everything was good as far as the course was concerned. Teaching was good and necessary information regarding the subject was sufficient enough for score more in the exam.

Internships Opportunities

No, they don't provide any internship here to the best of my knowledge and if we wish to do it outside they are well co-operative. Attendance will be given to the people who want to go for an internship during the course. And many in my batch have taken internship outside.

Placement Experience

3

To tell you the truth job opportunities here are fair enough. They only focus on placing computer science people and information science branch to some extent and branches are invited for placements but only for bpo kind of jobs. Very few get placed in branches other than computer science.

College Events

3

Technical events like circuitry, dextrin and code are being conducted. cultural events like the college fest "Saptrang" are being conducted they are a lot of fun to attend. We have flash mobs which are fun to watch and participate.Overall events in this college are good to showcase our talent.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is feasible and flexible according to our financial condition. Flexible mode of payment can be done. They can be paid through cash or demand draft.Proper instruction are given as in how to make the payment to the college management.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many government related scholarship have been availed by students during each semester according to their merits for sc/st. You get many other scholarships also for which you have to contact the college office room or exam cell.

Campus Life

4

Campus life was the best. While coming out of the college we had many sweet memories with us. Gender ratio were equal. We had many extracurricular activity, well maintained labs, they had many sports activities in college. And fair amount of competitions are held in the college.

Hostel Facilities

4

Their are college hostels in the college. Hostel rooms are good but food here is not that recommendable. They have separate hostels for both boys and girls. Hostel fees are feasible and are well guarded watchmen are present their constantly. They have three people accomodation in each room.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very friendly and are approachable.Alumni meets are conducted now and then. And seniors who are working are invited back to for tech talks.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is good . They are a bit hectic but you can easily face them with the help of the college. Evaluation is a bit strict but if you study well this won't be problem for you. Labs have good apparatus so lab exams are not that much of a hazel to face.

Admission

i got the seat here by the comedk admission process. I went to my allotted computer and selected my desired college. And other documentation was done to get myself enrolled for this college.Later through enrollment process from respective college allotted to me.

Faculty

4

We had well-qualified faculty in the college. Teaching and non-teaching staff were very good at their job and they helped us in many ways to face the final examination in each semester. Studying here was easy for us due to their constant support. The faculty here are extremely friendly.

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%
