A journey worth sharing

The college infrastructure has a classic look to it and is quite good. The hostel facilities are very hygienic and nice and the food is of good quality and taste.

i took b.com exam through kashmir university and i scored 78.6% percentage in that exam. Now, i want to take my PG admission for M.com but it is not available there.

the b.com course consists of core subjects like Accounting, business law, PPM, and Marketing Management, which provide the necessary knowledge required for succeeding in the field of commerce. in addition to that, the course curriculum also provides the technical know-how of various computer-based software used in companies for bookkeeping and data entry.

Since the college is academic and not strictly professional, the opportunities of internship are quite few.

In the past the placements and job opportunities were not so great as they are now. With more and more companies visiting the college and Govt schemes being launched like Udaan etc there has been an increase in the number of students getting placed and having better job opportunities.

Pollution day, environment day, world health International Women's day are celebrated in this college at Bukhari Hall Auditorium every year. Besides that national holidays like Republic Day, Independence Day are also celebrated in the college. Religious festivals like Deewali, Holi and Eid are celebrated with enthusiasm and fervor.

Being a Govt run college, the fee structure is quite affordable by students from all classes of the society, with average fee for any stream like Arts or Commerce being less than 6000 rupees a year. For students belonging to economically weak sections of the society the college is a very good option.

i don't know of any scholarships being awarded to the students, during my college time i did not find about any scholarship opportunity but since i have left the college now i may not be the best person to answer this particular question.

The campus life is quite fun with lots of stuff to do besides studying. The gender ratio, although not well balanced , is quite normal with just a minor amount of boys being more than girls. The college organizes various sports tournaments in cricket, football and volleyball. In terms of debates the college usually organizes debates and forums on various social and political as well as academic issues

There is hostel facility to the students from the far off areas of the state. The college hostel facility consists of a large hostel building on the rear side of the college and has capacity of housing a large number of students in the spacious rooms. The facility also consists of a mess too which provides food to the students at different times throughout the day. The mess food is hygienic and tasty with options in both vegetarian and non vegetarian meals.

To some extend they are satisfy with college but some of them are not satisfied because of teaching faculty present at that time.

In the past when i was in my final year during my whole undergraduate course their was only one exam for the or we can say annual exam for the whole year now the semester system has been introduced now two exams will be taken in one year i.e, after six six months.

i got admission form from amar singh college during office hours then i filled it and submitted it on next day with all qualification certificates and submitted it . After 1 month they uploaded the selected list and i was in that. After that i feel happy to go daily to my college and learned from talented faculty.

The faculty of the college is very well educated and in possession of years of experience in their particular subjects. In the Commerce stream the faculty members are well acquainted with their respective subjects and impart quality education to the students. The Permanent faculty consists of professors and vice professors with years of experience teaching the subjects while as the temporary teachers, although having lesser experience, also provide quality education and useful insights into the respective subjects.
