The college is overall very nice. The management is efficient in their jobs. It would be better if some more extra curricular activities are organised. Or else, the college fits all the bills. It is the oldest college for management studies in India. So, they can market this also.

I took their own examination followed by Gd-Pi . Score wasn't revealed. I chose this course as it is unique. Not many colleges in India offer this course.

The course is of one year. There is ample scope for research in this field. Foreign universities also offer scope for research in sports management. In the first semester, we had eight subjects: like Administration of specific games, organizational behavior, and sports psychology, finance, business and government, sports science, management principles etc. In the next semester, we have, development of sporting talent, research, and methodology, statistics, economy, law, event management and sponsorship, sports journalism, broadcasting etc.

Yes, they provide internship. I did internship in Protouch golf club in Tollygunge club. Experience was nice. I got 2500 for two months.

Almost 90% of the students are placed every year. Companies like city bank come for MBA. They offer 6lakh p.a to some students. For sports management, average CTC is 25k per month. Placement of other departments Is also impressive. Overall it is good.

Occasionally quizzes are organized. Fests are also there mainly in January. Students organize many events like food festival, Sanskriti, farewell for the senior. Fresher programs are also arranged for newcomers. Intercollege tournament also takes place. Tournaments like football, cricket, badminton occur. Also, basketball tournament had taken place. In the fest, people from all colleges visit.

It is feasible. For one-year pg diploma sports management, it is rs.1,600,000. For MBA, it is approximately 4 lakh for two years. Hostel and mess fees are taken differently.The college is partly non-profit organization. So, fees are less compared to many private colleges. The loan is also available. So students don't face any difficulty in studying here.

I didn't take loan. But, loan facility is available. Loan is available mainly for mba program. Also it is available for retail management.

There is no sexual discrimination in college. Around 30% of the students are girls. Campus life is interesting. Students play table tennis, go to the gym. Debates are organized on regular basis. Students from all departments participate there. Students from all over India come to study here. There are many students from southern part of India. Apart from that, students come from Delhi, Punjab, Mumbai, and also from interior parts of West Bengal.

Hostels are good. Girls' hostel has an entry up to 9 pm. Boys have entry till 10.30 pm. In one room, two students are allowed to stay. Mess food is also good. Breakfast is provided, then lunch. Finally, dinner is served. Rice is provided mainly. Quality of food is nice. In girls' hostel, a microwave is provided. There is a common room in both the hostels. A television is kept in the common room.

College seniors are extremely helpful. I had once taken their help for a project and it was very helpful. It is like a family. They are ready to help us and treat us Iike their brother and sisters. There is no ragging.

There are two exams in a year. Before that, midterm is there. In case of two years course, there are four-semester examinations. There are four midterms. Class assignments are also there. Marks are given on basis of that also. So everything should be given importance.

The written examination was done. After seven days, the results were out. I qualified and was called for group discussion and personal interview. In personal interview, we were asked about why we wanted to persue this course and what are our expectations from this course. We were also asked about our previous degrees and questions related to that. After a week, results came out. Selected students came with their documents on the specific date for admission.

Faculty is nice. They are always ready to clear doubts and help the students. We can even call them and they will clear our doubts at any time. They are very knowledgeable. They are friendly as well. Students should always take this opportunity and take their help.
