Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I completed my degree and PG so I chose this course. 100 students and 12 teachers. Most of the teachers are guests. Permanent teachers are here. Teachers have completed their BEd and Degree. Some of them get PhD in education and some of them have an MEd. The teaching method is completely a spoon-feeding method. Every teacher gives notes. We should provide the result as they think. Exams are continuously conducted here. Internals, Model exams, class test, etc. Most exams are easy.

Fees and Financial Aid

High fee for management students. A single seat needs 2 lakhs. Each semester needs an extra fee and an exam fee. E Grants for reservation students are available. However, the cost of extracurricular activities is very high.

Campus Life

4.5

Annual fest conducted at the end of every year academic year. There is no tech fest. The library is a small one. Very few Books are available. Only related to subjects. There are no extra novels, publications, magazines, etc. Each department has seperate classrooms and there is a chair and table available. For general classes, they have two halls. 100 students in a single class for general classes. Use mikes for good communication. Sports day conducted. Give importance to the sports activities and allow them to participate in University sports events. The BEd is a package of extracurricular activities. So many activities are conducted by students and teachers.

Admission

Must complete the degree with a 55% mark. Now BEd application is only through an online process. Both merit and management seats are provided through ranking. The Application details are available on Kannur University's Official Website. We should apply separately for merit and management seats. Reservation benefits are less. Only one student out of 12 is under the SC / ST Category. Also, merit seats are less here. It's completely a management college. I think the application process is smooth and perfect.
