Course Curriculum Overview

Pharmaceutical Engineering and Technology combines the best of both worlds: engineering and medical. It is one of the prime research-based streams, which is of utmost importance in today's world and will remain in future. Also, this is the best branch and college I could get at my JEE Advanced rank. The faculty-to-student ratio is generally 2:96. Professors are PhDs from reputed institutes in India and the world and have a lot of experience in teaching their courses. The exams were generally doable and standard, except for the subject Biochemistry which causes a lot of difficulty to students from PCM backgrounds.

Placement Experience

Placements at IIT-BHU stand at third place among all the IITs as per the latest data. Students become eligible for placements after the 6th/7th semester. Core companies in the Pharmaceutical department generally offer very less opportunities at the bachelor's level, but software development is always an option. The highest package from the institute was around 1.2 Crores and the average package in Pharmaceutical dept was around 17 crores, with percentage placed being 75%.

Fees and Financial Aid

Being a central government-funded institution, the fees are very nominal and standard. A 100% tuition fee waiver is given to students from SC/ST backgrounds. Students from Gen/EWS/OBC are given scholarships as per as per their family's annual income. Various state-government-specific scholarships are also announced timely.

Campus Life

Kashiyatra is held in January, and Technex in March annually. Books and journals from not just a person's course, but also on a wide range of topics are available. Classrooms are well equipped to accommodate 150-200 students on average with proper desks, blackboard and projector. Unfortunately, ACs are unavailable in Lecture Theatres. Clubs are divided majorly into four sections: Science and Tech Council, Cultural Council, Film and Media Council and Sports Council. Then there are sub-divisions for a wide range from Coding to Literature, Athletics to Media. SAKHA is a beneficial organisation run by students, for students.

Admission

Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) is conducted for admissions to the IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and other state governmental institutes. It is conducted in two stages: JEE-Mains and JEE-Advanced. JEE Mains, conducted by NTA, currently allows two attempts: one in January and the other in April tentatively. The best of the two scores is considered for JEE-Advanced and further JOSAA counselling for the system. JEE Advanced, conducted by one of the top seven IITs in a cycle, is given by the candidates who have cleared the JEE-Mains cutoff. It consists of two papers of 3 hours duration each. Its score is considered for JOSAA counselling for IITs.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Likes

Environment is good, the overall environment is calm
The hostel is good, it is hygienic and provides regular maintainence
The campus feels quiet safe and have good security with strict regulations

Dislikes

The network connectivity is not up to the mark
There are very less number of cultural events taking place in this college
Hectic study schedules which leaves no time for extra curricular activitoes

Placement Experience:

Placements of thos college is quiet good Many big companies provides internships and placements This year also quiet many students got placed TCS visited the campus for hiring Average packhage is 15 lakh per annum

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Life at SRM.

Likes

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

There are very good and highly qualified Faculties for each subject.
There is lot of clubs and groups which give exposure to the students.
Location of College is best in Greater Noida

Dislikes

There is little busy management and take time to respond query.
Highly busy schedule of college timings.
There can be delay in examinations from its expected date.

Placement Experience:

Placement in GCET is one of the good In greater Noida colleges. The average package of this college is 4-6 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, J.P Morgan, Josh Technology, L.G etc visited every year. Mass recruiters like wipro,infosys,capegemini also visited every year. About 85% students every year placed from the college. After getting degree my plans are getting very good placemnt from this college.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

Likes

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Likes

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

IIT bhu college review

I got mechanical engineering in IIT bhu because of my rank in jee advanced examination. I rejected civil of kanpur and chemical of ghuwati because of the superiority of mechanical over them . In terms of placement IIT bhu rank is now 2 after IIT kanpur that's one of the reason to choose it. Now I tell u about my admission process all the students alloted a date to submit documents and for hostel verification . Then on that day the allot us hostel room to stay. Then all students of different branches alloted different places to go and submit documents we go there and submit documents after a rush. Then they give us college id card with college stamp. A Good and Fruitful choice.

IIT BHU is known for it's religious and spiritual, Cultural environment. A number of fest take place. There are appx 10-11 DJ nights and pronight in a year. A total of 6-7 fest are done annually at large level and small fest are regular. This is the best thing of it. The mess quality is also better as compared to others.
