Excellent infrastructure

The overall experience in sahyadri is positive. infrastructure, faculties and facilities are great, the only two negative point would be the lack of a proper fest and outdated VTU syllabus

A CET entrance exam along with an interview process, I was an electronics geek so i wanted to take up electronics field so finally for electronics and communication branch in this college, For my CET ranking i got this college

Electronics and communication VTU course layout is not very student friendly ,on contrary, the college strives to inculcate project based learning and funds projects to ensure students develop experience and interest

Very rarely the college supports for the internships and all, The seniors have searched for the internships in bangalore and they have done their internship over there, I am in pre final year till now i have not done any internships.

Of approximately 530 , 420 were placed, the average placement package would be 7LPA, That is aorund 60-70% of the students got placed, The companies visited were bosch, HGS, few BPO companies.

Sahyadri has 2 technical papers fests, techvision and aerophilia, i could say aerophilia isn't that great, but techvision is good.

Tuition fee of 60000 and an additional 5000rs has to be paid, other than this i did not pay anything else, There were books, manuals, records charges which was taken at the later stage.

yes college provides scholarships for the deserving students especially the toppers deserve it.

yeah the college is excellent in terms of extra curriculars, yes and i got ample oppurtunities to explore my talent.

i am a day scholar i dont stay in hostel.

Honestly speaking, i haven't heard of any student-alumni interaction taking place in college so far.

Exams weren't really an issue , they were well spaced.

My opinions are fairly conflicting, some faculties are extremely educated and professional, they are approachable whereas some faculties are extremely annoying and hold grudges .
