Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is also good and the curriculum makes the student industry-ready and as improves the skills of the students as well. I chose this course because I wanted a professional degree. The qualification of the faculty is also good and the faculties are knowledgeable as well.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Placement Experience

The college provides placements as well to every student. From the 7th semester or from the last year of the course the students become eligible to sit in placements. The highest package offered in my course is 10lakh per annum. The average package is 3.5 lakh per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

My academic fees is around 130000 per annum and it includes the dress as well as the library charges. The scholarship is also provided in the college for the students who score well in the university exams. The college does not have any fee hike policy so no worries about fees increment.

Campus Life

I like the campus life here very much as compared to the other colleges in the same area. The btech has different clubs such as activity club and other clubs. The college has 3 libraries and for each course, there is a different library. Each library has well-stocked books.

Admission

I was admitted to VGI College in 2022. So at the time of admission, I saw many students who were available there to help the other students in their admission. The application form is available at the reception. The application form is easy to fill and the procedure is also very simple.

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Recently Infosys visited our college, however the average and highest package was not yet declared but we have heard rumours that the highest package is somewhat around 30 LPA. Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
