A journey worth sharing

PEP (personality enhancement programme) which is one of the unique reasons to join IFIM through this program student can overcome his/her lots of fear which is very much needed in today's corporate world. My overall experience in IFIM was good in terms of personal growth, knowledge, skills etc..

I gave Mat exam and through my mat score which is 89% I landed up in this college. There were four interview round:- First, I have listened one video which was of previous U.S President Barack Obama then I have to write up that speech on the piece of paper. Second, Aptitude round. Third, Essay round. Fourth and the most important round was interview taken by one of the knowledgeable panel member. I am pursuing PGDM as Marketing my major and HR my minor because of the interest I have in how market strategies themselves according to consumers ever changing demands and wants.

I am doing Marketing as my major so there are various subjects which I have studied like consumer behaviour, B2B, sales and marketing, Brand management and Integrated marketing communication. And in each subject the main focus was to gain knowledge through practical learning by doing projects like taking interview of marketing executive of some reputed company or going to the market place and see what offers are currently running into the market, which FMCG products got sold fastly with offers . By doing this kind of projects I got to know market better. Yes, there is one subject business research method in which I have prepared a research paper on consumer perception towards controversial food products.By doing this research I got to know many interesting facts about consumer preferences towards controversial food like Maggie.

Yes, college provides an internship. The experience is excellent for knowing how to work in corporate culture. The average Stipend amount is 15,000

Placement scenario is pretty good in IFIM. 70% of student got placed. Average package is 15 lakh. Companies like deloitte, PWC, E&Y, Asian paints, bergerspaints, Oracle, Orient cement, D&B Bradstreet, M-phasis, Federal bank, HDFC and many more come for placement.

There were so many different events organised on our college like Kanyathon, Aura, Naman, sram Dan, CSR week which is flagship events of IFIM and organised at a very large scale different institutes students comes to participate in these events. College authorities were very supportive about organising events as they gives full support in fund.

As I belong from a middle class family so the fee which is taken by IFIM was little difficult for me but that time I thought about long term and took loan from PNB bank at affordable charges. Fee structure is as follows: Tution fees-9,50,000 Hostel fee-2,40,000 Alumni fee-15,000

Yes, there are so many scholarships opportunities under the name of 'padode Foundation'. Yes,college provide loan from Axis bank as they have tie-up with Axis bank for all bank related queries.

There are so many extracurricular activities like games, sports, dancing, skits, music, marketing club, finance club, HR club. The college is pretty decent in providing ample opportunities to explore talent and have all facilities to do so.

Yes, I am residing in hostel. Hostel room is double sharing they is no single room facility but double room sharing has enough space to live comfortably. Hostel fee-2,40,000 for 2 years IFIM hostel is like a home away from home so definitely Food they prepared in very hygienic place and the taste of food is according to North and South buds.

We do interact with our alumni in various events which was organised by our college. They contribute in the development of the college through mentoring sessions, mock GD, placement etc..

Exams and labs were conducted at good level and very comfortable environment so that students can become the corporate ready.

Most of the faculties are phd holders from a reputated institute as well as most of them has long corporate experience. They are very interactive infact if you have any doubts in your subject you can go and ask to them.
