Course Curriculum Overview

The course Bsc(hons) horticulture was very excellent in srm college The faculty members are very well experienced. When I was studying there were 60 staff for 120 students. The faculty has completed PhD in hons horticulture. They use digitalized teaching methods like PPT, and SlideShare, they involve students more practically than theoretically. There are 4 years 8 semesters; 2 semesters per year and there are internal exams. The exams were based on subjects offered by our college

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for odd semesters is 20000 and even semesters is 18500 per year. The opportunity for scholarship is very good. Students can easily avail the scholarships offered by our college. The placement or job offer is conducted for two years once in Coimbatore's main campus. The scholarships offered are chancellor scholarships to academically meritorious candidates, sports achievers etc.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is sophisticated and there are many clubs like music club, literary and library club, fashion show club, and robot club. There is a fest called Milan is conducted national level cultural festival conducted by the directorate of student affairs.

Admission

The admission process is generally divided into two types, The first and most common one is general counselling and the second one is management quota.In general counselling, you can get the application form on our college website.The applied candidates have to pay INR 1200 and fill out the application form. The application date will be announced in our website shortly

This course have the last two semester that is the fourth year as all India study tour rave and experiential learning in which you have no exams from the TNAU by rather than focusing on field in our experiences of the student by the students are placed upon in particular village allotted to area office so the students would face the struggles and experience of an agricultural officer in field level and get contact with the farmer and intraway we also get many certificates it will be useful for as career in all India study tour we are exposed to various states and cities of total India we will travel to various station in located in all over the country and we also get a huge exposure to it in inexperiential learning we are allowed to choose two modules in which one for one subject based upon the college this providing at the time we get exposure up on the practical and the industrial aspects of how to produce something either in the field of agriculture Horticulture aquaculture poultry etcetera. Clampes you based upon agriculture aspect and it is also useful for UPSC aspirants too improvements is that you can add some transportation facilities from main city to this college because it's located in the rural area and also there are need to be more labs of higher advanced the exam is for two and half for a 40 marks of the final year exam and the practical exam maybe depend upon external who comes mostly it is also around some three hours and The Viva may extend up to many time based upon external and the midsem for 1 hour
