What Students Say

Likes

The most beautiful thing which admires me of NIT PATNA is it's location.
It is situated on the bank of river Ganga,which comes to be very peaceful region.
Infrastructure of NIT PATNA is very good .

Dislikes

Surrounding market rushes are somewhat problematic.
Overall the biggest drawback is it's area .
Due to very low area ,we are somewhat feel problematic when have to organise any event at bigger level.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is somewhat lengthy as we know electrical engineering is the toughest among all the branches of engineering. I chose it cause I had prior knowledge that the faculty of NIT PATNA is very good. They help us a lot in real and very educated too.

Class Size: 127Course Fees: INR 9600 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of the nitpian students is 67500 per semester while if you have having reservation then you only have to pay 4500. A number of scholarships as NSP and Bihar scholarship for students is available.

Campus Life

In national institute of technology Patna,our life is just awesome. We are provided with every facilities such as sports ,music, adventure and all. Some of the clubs of NIT PATNA are Robotics club, IEEE CLUB, NATVANSH, ASME.

Admission

First, I filled up the form for jee mains in 2021 in the February session and again took the exam in July for the same batch. I cleared my mains did my counseling and got National Institute of Technology Patna in my second round. A minimum rank of 25000 in mains is required to get into this college.

The Campus placements are quite good. Almost 50 percentage of students get placed but most of the students dont not have plans on accepting placements they either have their own plans or choose to go for Masters degree. Average package is around 1300000.

Placement Experience:

The current scenario of placements are not quite good . But in electrical engineering it is a little good .Previously except 2-3 students all students were placed successfully from our department.One best thing about NIT-Patna's placement is that it doesn't allows companies to aquire students who offers a placement of less than 6 lakh.

Work for the best

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students starts their internship and sitting in placement opportunities heighest package is approximately 1.5 crore and lowest packages 6 lakh. Here 60 to 70% students is most probably placed.

A short review about NIT Patna

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is decsent comparaing to other institutes . Every nigger companies comes and recruits the students with descent packages and in some case with extraodrinary CTCs . Basically there is mass recruitment in Civil and mechanical branches . Also the IT recruiters give chances and packages to lots of eligible student irrespective their branches .

NITP COLLEGE REVIEW

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placement from the 3rd year onwards and till completion of 4th and last year.The students are also eligible for the interships offers from 3rd year onwards. Various companies visited in our college including GOOGLE,AMAZON,JP MORGAN,FLIPKARK,SAMSUNG,NVIDIEA,ORACLE,INFOSYSand many more and are offering 2-3 job offers per student . The highest package in our college this year is 27 lakh ctc from samsung.7 students are able grab this mighty oppurtunities and are companies are still visting for hiring. The average placement of the students are nearly Rs 6 lakh CTC. The percentage placement is nearly 100% in our college except for some braches like civil and mechanical where the placement percentage are nearly 80-85%. My plan is to go for UPSC exam after getting degree from this college.

Nit patna review from first year student.

I do councelling via jossa so there is float , slide , freeze option no rejection are possible. I choose nit patna as it is best college according to the rank the current political scenario. There is lot of good college rather than nit patna but I choose it as it in come in tier 2 college and far better than other low grade colleges.
