Course Curriculum Overview

I have opted for mechanical engineering for my Btech course because I am focusing on selection into PSUs through the GATE examination. The faculty of Mechanical Engineering is very professional and experienced and also supports their students and guides them for examinations like GATE and ESE.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 68750 per year

Placement Experience

Campus placement is from average to good with average ctc offered is 4.5 lpa and more if you have proper knowledge and skills. Companies like Tcs akash byjus iffco bell coco-cola visit for campus placement drive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees for Btech students is 68750/- excluding mess fees which are 20k per semester and for IT students it is 82850/- You can also avail of scholarships offered by the UP government and get financial aid. Many companies visit our college for campus placement drives and offer handsome packages. Companies like tcs, Akash byjus, Cococola, BELL, IFFCO etc. recruit students from our college

Campus Life

KNIT is 700 acre big campus with 10 hostels, 9 for boys and 1 for girls equipped with wifi service.It also has badminton and basketball courts. There are various councils too. College environment is great.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is well equipped with wifi service,badminton court,basketball court,long tennis court,and gym(girl's hostel).One common hall for various activities and mess facilities is also present in hostel

Hostel Fee: INR 10000 per year

Admission

I got selected for KNIT Sultanpur through Jee mains examination conducted by NTA and then participated in UPSEE counselling. I have also applied for an Ews reservation and got the advantage as 10% seat is reserved. Branch allotment is done on the rank basis of Jee mains. On total 8 rounds were there and the 8th round was spot round.

Placement Experience:

Actually the placements are not very good in this college. That time there were no good companies come for placement. College was not so much good in terms of placement. Students got placement but their salary package was very low comparatively.

Placement Experience:

The Tech branches are new so placement is worse. Petroleum and Chemical branch is far better in terms of placement, PSUs come for them only. Tech Branches are shifted to Bangalore Campus for their final year, for batch 2021 they saw few companies highest was by PhonePe 24lpa. Now for my batch 2022 , we have still time till next year. few companies visited our campus highest was by Flipkart 33lpa.
