Oriental College

The college is having everything intact but what lags here is discipline. I truly feel that there should be strict implementation of rules and regulations.

I took admission based on my marks in JEE MAINS examination. As I was close to cut off score but failed to get any good college so I took admission here based on my online counselling.

The curriculum here strictly follows the Syllabus of RGPV which is the central university here in M.P. It is standard and the course content is also very lucid.

Internships are not provided from the college. We apply in many companies outside and based on our preferences we are given with internships. The stipend they give is 4000 on an average.

Placements are there with major companies such as Ford,L&T etc. Last year the average package given was something around 3 lacs.

Many symposium, seminars, guest lectures, technical fest etc are organised periodically.

The fee like most of the colleges here is something around 56 thousand for each year only for tuition fee. As far as transportation and other charges are concerned,it is charged separately.

Scholarships are given based upon the performance of students in their academics.

Extra curricular activities such as Bruno fest, Celebrity meets, DJ Nights etc remain on peak.

Hostels are available but no one opts for it as they are too filthy and are not maintained well.

Alumni network is highly enriched here. Last month only we were having interaction seminar with our seniors.

Exams follow the Semester framework. Each year we have internals, practicals etc followed by final semester exams.

Our professors here are very cool and of helping nature. Their teaching style is very nice. They have good qualification and also most of them are experienced.
