Course Curriculum Overview
As interested in the ECE branch I took up the admission the course is good, and the faculty members are helpful and try to help students excel in their subjects. The student-to-faculty ratio is pretty standard, a student can seek personal mentorship if interested. Most of the faculties are PHD holders so no drawbacks there. There would be two or three internal exams based on the curriculum and not that difficult if the student at least has some knowledge of what's going on in the classes.
Internships Opportunities
There are internships provided first few would be paid internships more like a workshop then in the early 5th sem onwards there would be stipends. The probability of one getting an internship mostly depends on the skills one has.
Placement Experience
There are on-campus placements where many companies visit for the 3rd and 4th years. The highest on-campus placements were 8LPA but they connect students to foreign companies like that of Japan whose last year's package was 21LPA. There is also an incubation center if students are interested in entrepreneurship.
Fees and Financial Aid
Unless a student gets admitted through management the fee is standard according to the examination bodies of KCET and COMEDK. For KCET the fees would be around 115000 and COMEDK would be slightly on the higher end, the management fees would depend on the branch opted. There are Scholarships available from the government which a student can avail in his/her first year.
Campus Life
The life on campus is good, they have the annual fest PRANATI every year and there are some other events going on on the campus. The library has a collection of curriculum books monthly magazines and newspapers. Classrooms are spacious and well-maintained. There are sports facilities on the campus - a basketball and badminton ground. There are many student-run clubs in which any student can be a member.
Admission
Any one of the three types of admission methods can be followed - the first is through KCET ranking and counseling, the second is through COMEDK and its counseling and the last one is through Management. I got admitted through KCET, a pretty standard procedure After getting the KCET rankings one has to apply to the college for counseling and get selected through it.
