Course Curriculum Overview
I chose a computer engineering course because I love coding and I love to make a website and applications and the scope of computers is very high in comparison to other branches. The faculty of the computer department is very good in the government polytechnic Jamnagar faculties also provide extra knowledge beyond the course. Qualification of the faculty is quite good and the teaching method of some faculty is amazing but some are not. There are 2 exams conducted in the government polytechnic Jamnagar first is mid semester exam and the second is the semester exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of course is very affordable only 1500 RS per year in government polytechnic jamnagar. You can also apply for a MYSY scholarship if you want but the criteria is you have to maintain a 5 to 6 CGPA and your yearly income should be less than 8 lakh. The placement of the government polytechnic Jamnagar is good but most students do a degree after completion the diploma.
Campus Life
There are no festivals organized in government polytechnic Jamnagar but some competitions or teachers' day and any other day is celebrated and sports competition is also organized by the college. The library is quite good and the availability of books is good. In college there is only two grounds one is volleyball court and one is badminton.
Admission
For eligibility criteria you have to score 65 + percent in your 10th exam if you are looking to do a diploma after the 10th standard if you want to do a diploma after the 12th exam you can do it. You have to register in ACPDC for a diploma. For reservation the seates are allocated for ST/SC, EWS, TFWS, and OBC.
