Atmiya Institute of Science and Technology for the Diploma Studies was introduced by Atmiya Univerity, Rajkot to introduce diploma programs focusing on practical and skills-oriented training. It is a technical degree that only covers the essentials when ranked with an undergraduate degree. 

Diploma in Engineering offered by the Atmiya institute aims to provide students experience job-related knowledge scientific skills, computing & analysis, mathematical techniques, a sound knowledge of English to communicate in the field and ability to apply problem-solving techniques. 

Diploma in Engineering

Its duration is 3 years. The candidate can apply for studying diploma in engineering degree after completion of 10th grade. In India, it is recognized as equivalent to Pre-Engineering or Bridging course when considered for continuing studies in engineering, with admission given directly in the second year of engineering.
