Remarks

College management needs to be more liberal and cooperative towards students and educational needs. But college fee is very reasonable and standard of education also is of a quality standard.

No entrance exam,this college has reasonable fee and good review of education.

Internships Opportunities

There was no internship or stipend on offer.

College Events

Annual day and Ganesh chaturthi. Ganesh chaturthi was a grand event spanning 3 long days and chief guests like Sudeep, Kunal ganjawala, Shankar Mahadevan being a few of them.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is Feasible one of the lowest fee. Rs 10000 per year.

No scholarship available but loan and referral bonus was there.

Campus Life

The campus considering the fee was good. Gender ratio was quite equal with many foreign students too to enhance culture exchange. There wasn't any discrimination on race or religion.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel was average but enough seats to accommodate all students. Fee was 2400 per year including food expenses too.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were very cooperative but alumni network should be improved as it's very inconsistent.

There is no official records of placements for SST as its a new college, but they do provide placements, also they provide internships in third year itself with a average stipend of 25k. The highest stipend that was offered was 2.5 lakhs from a german based company.

Christ University : The place of Mixed Feelings

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum isnt only theoritical but also has lot of practical insights which helps us gain onfield experience and knowlegde.The course could have been made a little less hectic for the students and a bit of breaks could have been added in between them.The exams are really packed and we get a lot of assignments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum includes syllabus in regard to that of National Education Policy scheme where in we have 2 core subjects. I chose biotechnology and genetics since it something I really look forward to pursue as my career in the field. We had one subject as open elective which enhanced our curriculum since we could choose from various course every semester. The university exams however were conducted for 60marks as theory and 2.5 hours for the same which can be extended to 3 hours

Indian Statistical Institute- A brief Insight

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements right after completing their B.Math(Hons) degree, i.e after their 6th semester. Companies like Microsoft, Google, LinkedIn, Wipro, and other Multinational Companies visit and every student gets an offer from one company or the other. The package ranges from 10LPA to 25LPA. Those students who opt for placement after their B.Math(Hons) course is over, all get a placement offer while most of the students prefer to continue their Master's Degree. I too would like to complete my Master's Degree after my bachelor and think about further options thereafter.

I joined The oxford college of science in my second year of my course as it provided the opportunity to continue my education and pursue my academic goals , the college reputation for academic rigor and its ability to accomadae lateral entry student like me played a significant role in my deciision, which was crucial to me to join in the seecond year to continue my studies seamlesly without losing time. for eligibility for me is to complete my 1st year in the same feild from a recognised university , where i should not have any backlogs . marksheet of 1st year and transfer certificate and no objective certificate frm both university is required , The admission proceess was smooth with college administratioon being helpful throughoutly after submitting required document, i was admitted directly into 2nd year....Read More
