I chose this course because I want to understand our medical system Ayurveda. Faculty members are quite helpful, and their intelligence level is great. The teaching method is also quite good and in students reach.. 75% attendance is required to appear in final exams. And the passing percentage is 50.

Internships Opportunities

For UG students, many research programs are available like.. SPARK studentship program.. and many others Stipend provided in an internship is 10k per month.. and seems to increase in the near future.. There are many other opportunities

Placement Experience

Deserving students definitely get placements. in some of the biggest companies in the country like Himalaya drug company, Patanjali AIMIl etc. You can prepare for post-graduation exams after your degree or can take medical officer exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the course per year is 67500. The duration of the course is 4.5 years with a one-year internship. Scholarship programmes help students avail the benefits. The stipend for an internship per month is 10000rs.. which seems to increase in the near future.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As my course is related to medical field the curriculum of BAMS course attracted me a lot because it focuses on both modern and ayurvedic aspect of treatment of different diseases. The curriculum prepares me fully for treating the disease in the real world and becoming a successful doctor. There are some areas of improvement need to be taken in the curriculum is that the modern and ayurvedic techniques should be interlinked and the faculty need to make the students understand how they can treat any disease by using both the knowledge in a practical way. The exam timing is 3 hour per exam and frequency of exams is twice a month.
