Likes

Staff has helping nature.cleaning staff is also good.
Security is slightly tight in University but you can enter in University they will not stop you.
Mess are very good. Roads in the university is good quality.

Dislikes

Security misbehaves sometimes when they are pressurized by high command.
Due to main big campus it becomes difficult to go for class in summer.

Faculty to student ratio is 1:3 i.e. about 490 teachers and scientists are available for about 1400 students. Almost all the faculty members hold PhD degrees. Exams are two times in a semester i.e. once mid-term and once final

R.A.W.E programmes in different companies are enrolled. The banking sector is also involved in Agricultural MBA programmes. Different seed-producing companies also provide internships. Research projects under Senior scientist's invigilation are carried out

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is good overall. But increased in 2023 by 10%. NSP, ICAR SCHOLARSHIP FOR ICAR STUDENTS HARCHHATARVRITI SCHOLARSHIP FOR students who held Haryana domicile. For MSc and PhD University provides a stipend.

Campus Life

Almost all journals and books are available about the courses at the University. Hauconfessions insta page, college page on Instagram by students of respective college students. Every September or October there is an athlete meet as well as a sports meet in the university.

Hostel Facilities

Fans, light and bed is provided by the University The washrooms are also in good condition. The meal is also good as it is an agriculture University. Pg is slightly more expensive as rent is above 4000/- month Hostel registration is also done during fee submission.

Admission

There is an entrance test for each course availed by the University separately. Test marks are obtained out of 100, with 200 questions each mark 0.5. Cutoff remains b/w 70-80 marks for each course. Medical/non-medical is necessary for each bachelor course except Bsc. Hons community science in which an art student also can take admission. Placement Experience:

Their is placement but not very good placement the average placement is 4 LPA. They can increase their placement ratio by having better companies bond relationship. Highest placement was 9 LPA Nearly 7-10% Student get placement. My plan after degree is to continue further studies from different universities.

Pros and cons of being an agriculture student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I belong to a farming family and my wish to improve the traditional agricultural practices my family is using and to help the farmers community and serve as a gem to our motherland is the main reason which motivated me to take this course. All the faculty members are well qualified and are working as assistant scientists or scientists. Their practical knowledge is really great and they teach with a lot of interest, students are also keen to learn the new aspects of farming. One semester is completed in 6 months and mid term exams takes place within 3 months after that final exam takes place. It's not much difficult to pass the examination just a good knowledge of the subject is required.

Remarks:

It is a reputed university. Have a good education facility and agriculture course. That's why I choose this university. Also this University have an affordable fees structure and a very neat and clean enviroment in campus.

Pros and cons of being an agriculture student

The students who have completed 12th with PCB/PCM/PCA/PCMB with 50% marks are eligible for this course. The application form, application fres and application dates are available on the official website of the university. Some seats are reserved for the underprivileged categories SC, ST and OBC along with economically weaker sections. Seats are also reserved as sports quota, for the children of army officials and physically handicapped students as well. Some seats are also being provided to the children of the villages which have donated lands for the KVK's. The reservation benefits should be given to only those students who actually need it.
