Course Curriculum Overview

This course provides many opportunities and job scope. The faculty-student ratio is 1:20. Doctorate degree holding professors and scientists will teach you. Term exams are somewhat tough but if you will study you will pass them out

Placement Experience

Some placements are offered after a master's in agriculture, a master's in technology and a master's in business administration. Somewhat after the bachelor programme. Nice placements are available. 20% of students get placed in companies

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very nominal. 17000 per year. And I get 36000 scholarships per year. From icar other scholarships are also available for hau students like merit scholarships for the top 30 students and caste-based scholarships.

Campus Life

Very nice campus and a lush green campus full of activities. Giri centre for all the sports activities is totally free of cost and nice coaches are there. Cultural programmes are conducted Many times. Air-conditioned classrooms.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good. The food is very nice and the mess is operated by the students themselves. The food is tasty and common room facilities are here for studying at night. Clean washrooms and a clean environment

Hostel Fee: INR 3600 per year

Admission

I got admission through the ICAR UG examination. And secured 530 ranks. You have to fill out a form on the NTA website. Its exam consists of 150 questions. 50 of biology 50 of chemistry and 50 of physics. The level of exam is somewhat tough but cutt-off is less always

Placement Experience:

Their is placement but not very good placement the average placement is 4 LPA. They can increase their placement ratio by having better companies bond relationship. Highest placement was 9 LPA Nearly 7-10% Student get placement. My plan after degree is to continue further studies from different universities.

Pros and cons of being an agriculture student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I belong to a farming family and my wish to improve the traditional agricultural practices my family is using and to help the farmers community and serve as a gem to our motherland is the main reason which motivated me to take this course. All the faculty members are well qualified and are working as assistant scientists or scientists. Their practical knowledge is really great and they teach with a lot of interest, students are also keen to learn the new aspects of farming. One semester is completed in 6 months and mid term exams takes place within 3 months after that final exam takes place. It's not much difficult to pass the examination just a good knowledge of the subject is required.

Remarks:

It is a reputed university. Have a good education facility and agriculture course. That's why I choose this university. Also this University have an affordable fees structure and a very neat and clean enviroment in campus.

Pros and cons of being an agriculture student

The students who have completed 12th with PCB/PCM/PCA/PCMB with 50% marks are eligible for this course. The application form, application fres and application dates are available on the official website of the university. Some seats are reserved for the underprivileged categories SC, ST and OBC along with economically weaker sections. Seats are also reserved as sports quota, for the children of army officials and physically handicapped students as well. Some seats are also being provided to the children of the villages which have donated lands for the KVK's. The reservation benefits should be given to only those students who actually need it.
