What Students Say
Likes
- Campus atmosphere was very positive. Everybody is very welcoming and supportive towards other people. A lot activities keep happening.
- The faculties were really approachable and friendly.
- The course curriculum was very vast and helped us understand the concepts well.
Course Curriculum Overview
The PGDM course at ITM is very diverse and has great opportunities available. The curriculum includes all the subjects related to an MBA in semester 1. Later we can choose our specialisation. The student-faculty ratio is around 1:60. The faculties here are great and highly qualified, mostly PHD holders. Also, the college has a great reputation in Mumbai. A special mention to the HODs who are always available for the students and easy to connect with.
Internships Opportunities
There are a lot of internship opportunities available in our college. The stipend is also good. ITM provides an internship opportunity of 5 months unlike other colleges, which makes you ready for the real world.
Placement Experience
The placements are good. Most placements happen for marketing students. Students become eligible to apply for placements from semester 2. The highest package last year was 22 lpa, while the average was around 7.5-8 lpa. Almost all the students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is around 10,95,000 rupees for 2 years excluding the hostel charges. In comparison with other B-schools in Mumbai, ITM has a great ROI. There were few scholarship programs available about which I was unaware so I couldn't really get one. The college also provides financial assistance to students who are economically poor.
Campus Life
The campus is small but spacious enough to make memories for a lifetime. At the very start, the college conducts its 8 days-long fest called "Melange 8.0". The reason for organising it at the very start is to make students comfortable and welcoming to each other. The classrooms are air-conditioned. There is a huge library where you will have tons of books and journals. Also, a lot of extracurricular activities keep happening. I was a part of the Ecell and research cell.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are really good. Affordable prices in Mumbai. There are 2 beds, cupboards, table, study area, and very well ventilated. There is a curfew timing of 10 pm which might be a hurdle but it's good to some extent.
Admission
The admission process was smooth. I submitted my MAT score which was 70.4 percentile. The college considered the score of any of the nationally recognised exams. After submitting the admission form with all the details the candidates were shortlisted and were called for interviews. The interview process happened nicely.
