Course Curriculum Overview

I am in the civil engineering branch. I choose the branch because of my interest in construction and design. Very experienced. teachers are in this branch they're very polite and friendly with students. Their teaching methods are very good. They solved all doubts of students.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 63000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee is 63000 for day scholar students. For sc/st students scholarships from the government are available, and for other castes like general and OBC, some minimal amount of help of scholarships are available. After completing the 6-semester campus available.

Campus Life

Annual sports, annual functions, seminars, competitions for engineering day, and NCC groups are available. On the college campus, a private canteen is also available. For students, a library is also available all types of books related to the course are available.

Admission

For B-tech, you should have completed +2 science in PCM or you have to complete a diploma. For admission to this college, you must have passed the Jee mains or OJEE exam. In this college Three B-tech courses are available civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering.

IIIT Bhubaneswar means technology!

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

Placement Experience:

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

NOT AN IDEAL COLLEGE BUT DEFINITELY DESCENT

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.
