Life at IET

The courses are quite good and the faculty is supportive but the experimental equipment is very old and won't function properly. The infrastructure is good but there is not much space to play and do a creative activity the exams happen in 6 months

TCS and Infosys are the mass recruiter companies that come to this college but students have also availed the intership at Google and adobe but applying off campus. so there is enough opportunity and scope for a highly-paid job.

As it is a government college so the fees are quite affordable the college fees are around 84000 the hostel fees if 14000 per year and the mess fees are 18000 per semester. The college also provides scholarships on the basis of merit

The campus is well maintained there is lots of greenery and there are clubs for all types of interest. We got a sports club, musical club, robotics club, dancing club, coding club, social welfare club, entrepreneur club and many more so the social life is quite fun here

The Ramanujan hotel that is allotted to 1st yr students is quite well maintained it has a basketball court and 2 badminton courts. The mess is also spacious and the food is also good but it is spicy and oily. In each room, there are 4 students accommodation but the rooms are designed only for 3 students

You have to clear jee mains and then apply for UPTU councelling. Then according to your rank in jee mains, you will be allotted branch and college according to your preference order in the councelling. After the seat allotment, you have to be physically present at the college for reporting and confirming your allotted seat
