Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are available with Nerim Group of Institute. Some of the companies under internship programmes are TopCem, StarCement, Pepsi, Cognizant, Dabur, Suzuki, SBI, Indian Oil, Purabi etc.

Placement Experience

The institute has a dedicated Placement Cell which provides placement Assistance to all the students enrolled in different programmes of the institute. This includes placements after successfully completing their Master's Programme and Concurrent field work after each semester. Both on-campus and off-campus interviews are arranged regularly. Several Multinationals and reputed National Firms belonging to different sectors have been regularly recruiting students from the NERIM Group of Institutions from time to time.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is 50,000/ per year, Each Semester-25000/- The institute provides placement assistance to all the students enrolled in different programs of the institute. This includes placement for both in-plant training cum Project Work, Internships and Job Placement assistant after successfully completing their Masters's Program

Campus Life

The institute has a library enriched with around 30000 books on Management, Computer Science, Law, Commerce, Social Work & Psychology and other Allied subjects of Indian and Foreign publications. The college houses a well-furnished student activity centre to encourage students to participate in co-curricular activities. The cultural and sports extravaganza 'Activeda' provides the students with a platform to showcase their talents in the fields of art, culture and sports.

Admission

The candidate must be graduated in any stream from a recognised university or have an equivalent qualification that the Ministry of HRD recognised in India, as per the CAT eligibility. Application forms can be found online as well as application fees and application dates.

It is good but not the best

Likes

I liked the study environment in the campus as we have a proper library and ebooks section where we can find all the books related to our course
I liked the teachers as they are cooperative with us and they help us in our project works and makes us understand topics in a easy manner
I liked that our college campus is totally free frim raggung and all such kind of misconduct

Dislikes

Poor hygiene and sanitary as they are not well maint
High fees structure compared to what we have recieved
Doesnot pay much attention to extra curricular activities

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always had a interest regarding business administration so i decided to take this course.This course will help me to gain experience regarding how a business works in the real world and also will help me to face the real skilled world. The teaching could be done in a more interactive way and also in a advanced way like using smart boards. Exams are held on an interval of about 2 months and their difficulty is quite moderate.

My honest review for my college

Likes

The environment of Gauhati Commerce College is nice. The campus is full of gardens and trees .
The canteen of our college was available from 9-5.
Functions and ocassions in gauhati Commerce College was conducted very well.

Dislikes

The teachers could have been better and more supportive.
I expected better marks than what I received.
We did not have a proper field to play sports.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus is not too lengthy and is completed in time . The curriculum i must say is average. Few practical classes or presentations could have included for better understanding of the lessons. Exams were held timely and exams were a bit difficult.

There are best teacher to teach us and they motivate us to become successful in life
I like the cultural program happened in our college. The cultural rally is the best part
There is a basketball court.where we play a match daily

Dislikes

In tezpur college, there is no big ground to play cricket and football
The canteen is not too good and the food is also not too good
Placement is not given here.only gave a bachelor degree

After completing class 12th with commerce , I have two options.First one is doing b.com and second one is doing bba.So I choose the second option because my cousin brother is also doing the same course from guwahati commerce college

Play cricket at Free time when I didn't have work
I like to play Mobile games very much at free time
To write poems at free times When I am alone at home

I don't want to See gambling apps in internet
I hate Ice cream Because I don't like it
And I Dont like selfish people's who didn't help anyone

I want to Become CA that's why I choose this profession the real world application shows me very liked person In teaching always speak in Hindi or English some people don't know local language 4 hours exam is there Too much Time taking

University life of an average student

Likes

The professor are well qualified and are very good in their own domain with a lot of experience
This university also makes sure that the students come to the college everyday as 75% attendance is mandatory to sit for the exams.

Dislikes

The timing is one of the thing that I personally don't like it is a bit early for an university student and also the exams are quite frequent
There are two campus in our university one is in Tapesia and other one is in Azara I stay in Azara campus and it is very small campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well as a BBA student it is good to study here and I highly recommend students to join this university . We are taught the subjects which actually required to deal with the real world and also we can opt for various subject which is really good as we can icrease our domain. I would say it is the best to do BBA here . Talking about the curriculum it is also fine but the should increase the gap between the exams it is hard as a student to cover up.

Remarks:

Overall the college is very good with them very good extra curricular activities. College is especially famous for international visit known as precipice. They also provide free international trip for 60 students in the third year.

It is good but not the best

I also applied for assam down town university and also got confirmation for admission but later on i decided to pursue with this college as i have heard a lot about this college from my known ones. One of the best institute in northeast india the NERIMS

I choice nerims becouse this is a institute where you get all the opportunity to do and here all the teachers are so well in there works they have AC ROOMS also other colleges doesn't provide this kind of facilities i applied for kc das college but i dnt take admission there becouse of all the best giving by this nerim institute our admission process is so simple we have to just submit your 10 and 12 marksheet and migration certificate if have and also you have to score more thane 45% in both 10 and 12 classes there is no exam to take admission in nerims...Read More
