Remarks

Overall a good experience. The college, infrastructure, faculty is very good. I would personally recommend this college to anyone i know.

Entrance Preview

Entrance exam -UPCAT. I heard about the college from specialists of my stream. No interview is required. My choice of course. I like medicine and dentistry as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was good. A lot of emphasis on the practical aspects of our course. A number of research programs initiated by the college which include both undergraduates and postgraduates.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. I will be starting with my internship in 2 months. The stipend we are offered is somewhere around 2.5k per month. It is not proportionate with the fee we are paying.

Placement Experience

The placements are not very good considering the competition in the stream. Though the college gives it's best for the students to get placed. More than 50% of the students get good placements. It is merit based though.

Fee Structure And Facilities

2.75 lacs per annum academic fee Plus 85000 hostel fee per annum 50000 security deposit collected as a one time refundable fee

Hostel Facilities

Rooms on sharing bases. Hostel fee is 85000 per annum. The food is homely.

Exam Structure

A balanced examination system with internal exams held every 3 months and one external every year.

Faculty

All the faculty is specialised in their own respective streams. They are very approachable and interactive. A very high standard of teaching iver here with the faculty taking extra efforts to squeeze out the appropriate results from the students.

Based on the findings of the study, the common factores that influence me were external influences, affordability, practicality, personal preference, environemnt , facilities, interest.as it is a dental college so the main focus was opd patients which is quite good in this college. Every year there is slight variation when it comes to exams. They are not as difficult as we think.if we have studied well then exams are good to go. A well designed curriculum should equip the students with both foundational knowledge and practical skills and this college has the same. Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a neet aspirant only i decided i want to go for BDS and not MBBS for BDS is a more specialized course focusing only on the oral cavity and care. There are in total 9 branches under BDS and each branch in itself has huge scope in outer world. We start dealing with real patients from third year only so we have real experience of everything and by the time internship completes, we have enough knowledge to open a clinic of our own. And best part, BHU provides 50% internal qouta for its students so we've a better chance of getting a good pg seat from such a prestigious institution.

Placement Experience:

After the 4th year, there is a 1-year internship after which you can apply for a job or you can open your own clinic. Top dental companies come to college for jobs. Student after bds get the job of 30k per month The percentage is approx 60% you can open a clinic or apply for government job.
