Placement scenario is quite good. That's the only reason everyone joins this college.

Dislikes

Poor campus life. There's nothing fun to do.
Semester paper checking is strict. You're not given the marks you deserve.

Course Curriculum Overview

I love tech and I know I can do better in this field. Faculty to students ratio is around 1:50. All faculty members are decently qualified and the teaching method is average. Term exams are quite difficult if you don't study regularly.

Class Size: 78Course Fees: INR 156000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For CSE and IT, the fees are 1.56 lakhs per year. For other courses, it's 78 thousand per year. Fees for CS and IT is more because it is a Self-sustaining course. But no special treatment is given to students in these branches. I haven't received any scholarship.

Campus Life

Life on campus is the worst you can get in any engineering college. There's no place to hang around. It's 90% jungle out there. Have spotted snakes roaming around on campus. There are many clubs you can join according to your interests. Fests happen too, that's the only time our college outshines other colleges.

Admission

You've to score a decent percentile to be able to study in this college. The counselling occurred through OJEE. You've to apply for it online. You'll get reservation benefits as per your respective categories. The admission experience can be improvised if counselling runs up to a few days.

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. The timings for sem exams are 3 hours while for quiz tests its 30 minutes. The difficulty level is average of all the exams

A Good University

First of all mainly because of the location it is situated. It is in the Captial Region. I got some seats in NIT-R but didn't go because the seats that i got is all 5 year course and i don't want to study for longer period of time. So the admission process is quite simple. I did apply for VSSUT Burla but could not clear the cutoff. Also i would like to add on this that i did a better job in choosing the seat here .
