What Students Say

Likes

I liked the ground and the infrastructure of the college and the labs are also good.
The lectures of the faculty is also so good and easy to understand.
The Library is also good and all the books which we want are available.

Dislikes

The ground during the rainy season it will be total with water.
The traffic in front of the college during evening times.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I have a passion for civil engineering from schooling itself. The faculty is good in my college and had a mentor for every 8students in the college and faculty-student ratio is also good it is easy to pass by listening to the lectures of the professors.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 131000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internships provided in my college are good and they are also paid internships the companies offered are Oracle and Amazon and JP Morgan and they also offer jobs if they are wanted and we have a minor and major project in the final year.

Placement Experience

The students are eligible for the placements in the 3rd year and some of the students will get the placements in the second year second semester itself the companies visiting are Oracle and Amazon and JP Morgan.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure in this college is very high but with the help of scholarships we can afford some money from it I got a north-south foundation scholarship and it helped me a lot in my expenditure on the hostel fees.

Campus Life

The annual fest done in our college is sintir and tech fest every year tmit was very enjoyable fest and in the Library we get all the books we want to study and also college encourages in the sports activities.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel food is good and the food provided in the hostel is also good and varieties made in the dishes are also good and reasonable to the fees I paid in this hostel and the location is Pragati Nagar.

Hostel Fee: INR 5500 per year

Admission

There is an entrance exam called ecet and EMCET to get into the college. The application can be found in the college itself. The reservation can be applicable for sc and st candidates and the students who got 1000below in ecet and 10000in emcet. the students who came from faraway places can be treated first.

A Helpful internship Experience with gaining real world skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate my curriculum 2.5 out of 5 stars.The syllabus covers the core subjects very well but it follows the old tradition with limited industry visits,It can be improved by adding more focusing on real world applications

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

Detailed review of VNR VJIET

I did chose this college because it is highest rated EAMCET college in Telangana. Vnr when compared to others is far better in curriculum and placements.the addmission process starts atound Feb of every year. There is also management quota . The only other college applied is cbit . I did not get the seat for my rank . The admission process is of three ways. One sis EAMCET exam and the other is jee mains percentile ( b cat) and the last one is nri quota also called as management quota.
