Remarks

Actually college is very good for the day scholar students. Good academic support and and other curriculum activities. The hostel and placement programs are not good

We have to apply for single window online application after plus two course. They select by our previous academic status and there will be a interview to get admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was doing bachelor degree in chemistry. We have labs, PG labs.and we have almost all facilities for this course.and they provide more courses

Internships Opportunities

I never seen they encourage internship for degree students.its not going well. No companies are coming here for any placements

Placement Experience

Placements are not well going because it's not an professional college. More arts and science courses are held on here.

College Events

There will be so many events help on here. Like national seminars,cultural programs,food fests. Teachers and management are very helpful for such programs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee are very affordable here. We don't have to pay any donation fee here. Maybe it will be one of the fewest colleges in Kerala who don't take any donations.

Fees and Financial Aid

College alumni groupis providing scholarship for backward students. And we can apply for all state and central scholarships.

Campus Life

It's almost better because in they encourage all cultural competitions and provide fund for it by students union. They have been champions for most of c-zone fest.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is not well provided here. Most of the students are day scholars. Maybe that's why hostel is not well maintained.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni is working very well. After graduating from college we can always stay in touch with college through various programs held by the alumni association.

Exam Structure

Exam and labs are not bad. There will be two or three internal exams in a semester. An then external and practicals will held according to University notification.

Faculty

Teachers are really supportive and encouraging for all the development of the students.they provide all study materials like library,digital library,...for the academic. And have an auditorium for arts.

Why you should/shouldn't join LISSAH

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.
