Course Curriculum Overview
I choose btech in computer science because its have lots of job opportunities and can help to achieve a greater package. The faculty-to -students ratio is around 1:20 which allows for attention for more individuals from faculty members . Where all the faculty members are well-trained, qualified and experienced. They either hold master's or Doctorate degree in their respective field. Teachers conducted regularly lab tests and sessionals to check the progress of our studies. whereas due to heavy competition, the exam and sessional are hard to score. In short, the sessional is hard and difficult. The passing score was 33.
Placement Experience
it provided a great opportunity for all the students to get placement in various top recruiting tech companies like TCS, Accenture, Infosys, byjus, wipro etc. Various tech companies visit our college for placements. Many students around 85-90 per cent of students get placement on campus. The maximum salary package was 5.7 lakhs per yr. My plan after getting my degree is to get a good package and placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is divided into many parts like tuition fees of approx 1,17,000 per year plus 10,000 security fees, book bank 7,500 and even other more expense. Overall it can cost us around 1,55,000 to 1,70,000 per year. The fees are revised every year and hiked by a max of 5 -8 per cent every year. Some certain scholarships are available, need- bases scholarships for students who need financial support. Merit-based scholarships for those who score high in entrance exams, and sports scholarships for those who have taken part in national and international games by representing our college.
Campus Life
The campus life is quite exciting and enjoyable, there are 2 main annual fests which are annual cultural fest - kiet saman conducted in February every year and kiet techno fest in March every year, and some sports competitions are also conducted on the same side. The college library is quite well maintained and big with all the necessary facilities with updated versions of books and journals. There are a number of sports events conducted on campus like Cricket, football, basketball ball, swimming and chess etc. kIETian connect is a social website where students can connect to each other are share various photos, posts and updates. Kiet photographs photography club is one of my favourite clubs where we can follow our hobbies in taking various photographs. Classrooms are well equipped with smartboards, ac, and wifi interest connection.
Admission
The admission process should be as easy and straightforward as possible and should provide all the necessary updates and information both online and offline with proper FAQs, and clear instructions which can help college seekers.
