Course Curriculum Overview

In the Postgraduate Department, only 4 permanent faculty are available. 4 Guest faculty also available hear. 20 Research Scholars are also available for students. Approx 12 Retired professors also come to the department from time to time for students. The faculty is very good and well knowledgeable. Exam conducted by semester system. Also, CBCE System is available.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 11000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is yearly, First year charge is 6500, Second Year Charger is 5500, The fee for girls is only 220 per year. Exama form charge is 750 for general and Other Backward Class and 350 For S.C & S.T Category. Bihar Student credit card, Post matric Scholarship & Sir Ganesh Dutt Scholarship is also available for students.

Campus Life

The campus is very good and historical. Main Campus is About 500 years old. In Geography Department a very good Library facility is available. More than 15 thousand books and 3500 Ph.D. theses are available. Research journals are also available. Sports activities are not available. NSS & NCC is also not in good condition. Students run a group name Environment Warriors for social work for the environment. They work very well.

Admission

Admission is done on the basis of Graduation Marks. Admission From Charge is 1100. If you come reservation Category then you have to show your cast certificate. Minimum 3 and Maximum 5 cuts of marks are taken out. 80% of seats are reserved for students who have graduated from Patna University.

Admission:

Once the University announced the admission notification on the website, I had to download the application form from the website and then I filled it with all details and submitted to the University with 500 rupees application fees. Also, I had attested all required documents. After submission, I received a mail regarding my selection based on my merit. Then I joined the interview via Skype and got selected.
