Remarks

College is situated middle and top of a hill so climate is very good but have some traveling problems. But routes are less in this place

I wrote the Kerala entrance and i got good mark. I read about college at newspaper that one of the college student got rank in university exam. I always interested in knowing about planes, so i decided that aeronautical Engineering is the best option for me

Internships are awesome. College provided best internship. We feel more safe. Our principals is always communicate to us. The average amount is 5000

Placement Experience

Placement scenario is best. About 80% students got Placement. I am not sure about companies and average package, lots of Indian companies arrive here

The college is affordable, there are many categories in fees related to their mark From 2nd year we have other categories that will help the students who was come in management 75% = no fees 65% = 8500₹ 55% =35000 Pass = 55000

IIIT KOTTAYAM - a Honest review

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

The length of course curriculum is very short. It is very difficult for both students and teachers to complete the syllabus in limited time period.The exam timing are also very conjusted and students are facing many difficulties because of it .

IIST - A good campus to live but with high restrictions.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is there in the campus.A lot of companies visit to the campus. From this year more private companies are visiting because of the breaking of bond with ISRO due to which students are getting good package.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
