GBU Honest Review

The admission process is quite simple. Maybe it can be more digitalized to decrease complexities in taking admission. Fees Deposition, Batch enrollment, everything gets completed on the same day. However, for the Hostel allotment, you have to come later.

Exams were always from time to time. Every semester contains 1 Mid sem then 1 End Sem. Midsem contains a maximum of 25 marks, and Endsem contains a maximum of 60 marks. The difficulty of these exams lies between easy and moderate.

Our students start getting internship opportunities from 2nd year. If you are good at programming and have decent tech knowledge then you will get too many opportunities. Non-CS branches lack internship opportunities because of the low demand for these students.

Students become eligible for campus placement after 6th semester. Many Reputated companies visit college for placement. Every student gets average 2 offers. Highest package is 11 Lakhs and average package is 3 lakhs. In CS branch almost 90% students get placed but in other corr branches there is lack of placement.

State Government offers scholarships for UP Domicile students. There are some terms & conditions of that scholarship. SC/ST students get flat 50% off on college fees and Hostel fees are the same for everyone.

Our college organises many Fests. Some of them are GBU Tech Fest, Annual Fest, DJ Night, Dawat-e-GBU, and many more. Campus life is decent in terms of Entertainment. There is a huge library which contains almost all the books needed for students. National-level Cricket Stadiums, Football stadiums, Indoor stadiums, and many other courts are there for students.

The hostels of GBU are quite decent. Every student has his own single room. Being surrounded by a green environment make them look beautiful. Meal quality is below average. They give good food sometimes but sometimes uneatable.
