Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because its curriculum was very well structured and had varied subjects for students to learn and develop their skills. There was also an equal amount of practical and theory subjects. There are about 8-10 faculties for 150+ students in total. Most of the faculties have at least a Master's degree in their specialized subject and some even possess a PhD. Exams were conducted regularly as scheduled and they were Easy- moderate to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Students from my batch got placed in many reputable Advertising Agencies like OPN Advertising, Ogilvy, DDB Mudra etc. I personally worked on notable projects in Bigg boss 3, Chennai Super Kings and Gulf Oil
Placement Experience
From Semester 5, students can sit for placements. Some companies like Social Beat, Ting etc There are only limited campus placements. Most students get placed off campus or become freelancers or entrepreneurs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the course is slightly on the higher end when compared to other courses because they provide many amenities like design labs, Photo & film studios, use of equipment etc. The fee when I studied (2018-2021) was 90,000 per year. The student might have to spend extra for books, art supplies, photography trips, buying laptop & cameras etc. There aren't any scholarships for the course. There are general scholarships available. There are no campus jobs with stipends available.
Campus Life
The campus life was amazing. There's one or the other cultural events that will be happening on campus. Jhankar, Abhilasha & Vish were the most famous ones. The library is well equipped with all the relevant books needed for the required subjects. All classrooms are equipped with high-quality desks & chairs, projector etc. Interested students can take part in NCC, sports like Basketball, Volley Ball, Hand Ball, Kho-Kho etc. There is a well-organized general Student body called the Student Parliament with more than 100s members Each department has its own club with various activities and inter-departmental competitions held regularly.
