Remarks

keep up the amazing work, let the students shine as they always have been doing. Loved every moment there and have truly used the ethics in my work life and i am still using them. College experiences have made me the confident, independent person that i am and i am proud of myself and my peers, watching them flourish and attain immense success in all walks of life

Entrance Preview

I had given the MOP Entrance exam to get through and my SSLC scores were sufficient to crack. I chose BBA at M.O.P because the college excels in this particular field, its a notch above other Business schools, convenient and persistent on extra curricular activities which was my second criteria.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

For me, my future was M.B.A so the course was like a life savoir, keeping the curriculum in par with the P.G material. It gave me an added advantage for i did not have to study to absolutely opposite topics. I could simultaneously prepare for my CAT, XAT and GMAT , not only that but even in my period with Symbiosis, i could correlate with every subject to a certain extent.

Internships Opportunities

Yes they do with some of the best companies in the country coming in for college placements. Unfortunately i couldn't sit for the interview because I had to pursue my Higher education but my peers had an amazing experiences and a few continue to work with the same Big Industries making it 6 years in a row. The basic stipend according to my knowledge was Rs 3,60,000/- p.a to somewhere around Rs 6,00,000/- p.a

Placement Experience

5

I cannot really recall many but Mckenzie, Google, PWC, Cognizant, Reach Management were few of the big names. I cannot be sure of the Package structure because i did not get a chance to appear for any interview.

College Events

4

So the First year girls have Abhilasha to look forward to, an event bringing in all the freshers to compete and basically break the ice. Participants have dancing, cooking, acts, extempore and other such events to make an impression. The other years we have JHANKAR which is an Intra-collegiate fest. It has extreme competition and hardwork which two days dedicated to all events and the winners take the trophy after almost a month of preparation in a plethora of events. The college also has to its name a BAZAAR to encourage the hidden entrepreneur in the girls. A two day fiasco of stalls of food, music, technology, fashion and what not. Apart from these each department has their own fest pertaining to their curriculum, I was the President for "DRUCKER's PROGENY" an event pertaining to BBA students of all three years, calling in eminent speakers and judges to enrich the girls with power and knowledge.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college is on the expensive side compared to other colleges probably making it non-accessible to a certain part of the crowd. BBA was still nominal but Media courses are heavily charged along with journalism and such. Morning B.Com is much reasonable that evening courses

Fees and Financial Aid

Never availed any so will not be able to comment.

Campus Life

4.5

The college is very down to earth just like the city is. We never had gender, race, religion issues, it is an all girls college and everyone is in harmony and sync with each other. Campus life was memory worth living and re-living, like any typical college goer. I always was inclined towards Dance events and extempore so i felt absolutely utilized to my capacity. I was also lucky enough to be noticeable for these events making it much more fun than usual.

Hostel Facilities

4

Never had friends using the hostel facility in MOP. The Canteen had amazing food, hygienic and typical mess memories we could make. Snacks and lunch was easy for students staying away from Home and i sometimes miss college food too.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were extremely helpful through the events and fest. We would also get notes and guidances regarding exams and debates. They are approachable and were strictly against bullying and ragging which got all of us gelling with them in no time. The alumni network is weak still because haven't come across re-unions so far, looking forward for the same

Exam Structure

It was a proportion done right. We had two Internal exams before appearing for the finals. Those internal exams were also a composition for our final grades so we had to perform better in all. So that makes it equal hard work through out the year. We did not have much need for Labs but the Equipment and rooms pertaining to our course like the AV Room and Library were self sufficient

Admission

The forms were available all through summer on first come first serve basis. It was like a swamp of girls trying to break the admissions. Well I had my Scores in hand but had to give the entrance exam which happened in 2008 last. That combined with my cut off was what got me through the admissions.

Faculty

4

Because of all the extra curricular activities, no one can not interact with the faculty. They are such strong motivation and building forces, constantly reminding us to be enduring whatever that comes. They keep a tab on academics and also ensuring the introverts turn out to be out and beyond extrovert by the time they pass,

Placement Experience:

The placement process begins from the third year i.e. the fifth and sixth sem. But be warned the placement is pure dabba. The companies that visited are goldman sachs, pick your trail, venture lts, greenbay, taj, audible, TCS, etc. the package varies from 3.4 LPA to 12 LPA. These are just peanut money btw. The college says there's 100% placements ( joke of the century) but in reality only 70% gets placed. I plan to do MBA from a different college.
