Likes

• A very broad and large campus of 60 acres in Jharkhand region probably best among private.
Course curriculum in collaboration with USA university for world class learning.
Best and supportive faculties. Helps in not only doubt solving but also has practical approach in learning.

Dislikes

College promises a very decent number of placements but when you actually know the truth, that is only nearly 50% got placements

Course Curriculum Overview

BCA is a 3 year bachelor's degree course that consists of 6 semesters and each semester consists of different subjects. Faculties are good and you just have to focus on what they taught to get good marks in semester exams. It is simple as that of school exams. But, if you fail, you have to give backlogs.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are a total of 6 semesters and for each semester you have to pay 35,800. The registration fee is 10000 But, if you belong to backward classes, you can take benefit of e-kalyan. Also, the college provides internal scholarships upto 25% depending on your academics.

Campus Life

When I firstly visited a college, I was fascinated by the infrastructure and huge campus. The college teachers are quite supportive although staffs are very rude. There always a busy schedule in classes as college normally finishes the semester in 4-5 months. This college is traditional as it doesn't organise any parties or farewells. But some of the traditional events are organised.

Admission

The admission process is done very simply. This college is taking direct admission in BCA courses. For this, you have to just 12th passout with 40% marks. Later, you have to fill out an application form which is available on the college website as well as in the offline office. After that, you will be called up for your document verification and thereafter an orientation program is organised by the college to give you a brief about the college.

Sarala Birla University is a nice choice for UG courses

Placement Experience:

When I went to college's orientation program, they showed a data in which more than 90% students placed last year. I don't know the exact but there were only few students last year but from our batch, the number of students increased hugely. So, I guess there will be an decline in placement ratio. According to college and some seniors, some big companies visited in college and they hire meritious students. Average package is around 6L which is decent.

Placements are really good for my department. From Semester 4 th you all are ready to get placed as company visits in an even semester. The companies visited are DeloitteUsi, Capgemini, Tcs, Wipro, EY, and Byjus many more...you just need to be attentive. The highest package till now is 10 lpa and the average is 3 lpa And there are placement coordinators who help you in guidance. Almost 75 to 80 percent gets placed with low to average packages.
