Likes

I liked my Information department because I learned lot of things from teachers.
Library is good for studies and for requesting books also.
Sports department supports us provide sports related information properly.

Dislikes

Infrastruture of classroom should be updated.
No big playground is there in college for practicing sports.
There should be an regulars extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chased an Information Technology course because I had knowledge of programming language and as compared to other fields I thought information technology is easy. Faculty: student ratio is 8:70.Qualification of the faculty is M.tec and the teaching method is good. In 4 months new term exams were there.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Various companies provide internship opportunities for students name of companies are Cyber Success, Uvulas Technology, Cyberlife, Palle Technologies, etc. stipend provides 10k to 15k. The projects they provide are needed for resolving human issues.

Placement Experience

After the third year, students become eligible for campus placements. The college provides good placement for every student. Capgemini, Wipro, Tcs, Tech Mahindra, Act systems, Kpit, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. visit our college, and 100+ offers are made this year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is intermediate. All types of scholarships are provided in these colloge there were no problems regarding scholarship, Campus jobs are good TPO guides well, Average package we get is 4lpa

Campus Life

The annual fest is conducted in February-March. The name of the annual fest is MRIDHGANDH. Every department conducts a tech-fest and various prizes also be there. All types of books and journals are available in the library if any case book is not available we can request them then they make them available as soon as possible. Business club, Training, and placement club, Coding club, etc. are there.

Admission

Eligibility of course was 50% in PCM. The college provides the Application form, Application fees, and application dates after we visit the college or call them. They assign one professor to tell information regarding Reservation benefits and any improvement that is needed.

Overall review of my college life in VIT Pune

Placement Experience:

The Training Placement Office Logins are given to us in the third year of the college where alot of companies gives opportunities to apply for the said job role or internship. Approximately 5 to 10 companies visits are there every month which increases as you enter your final year of college.

My experience at VIT pune

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.

Students are eligible for placement from the third year itself for ppo and so. There are several companies visiting thakur around the year and there are a lot who get placement off campus too. I have heard a student from comps got into google at 72lpa. you can visit the tnp site for more detail.

placements are pretty decent here, especially for comp/it students. The average package here is around 12 to 14lakh, college provide on campus placements too, our placement cell is pretty hardworking. almost 97 to 99% of students get placed here.
