Course Curriculum Overview

I want to become an expert in programming and want a placement. The faculty was very good and they were very helpful. There was 2 unit before the semester and it was all good. And the qualification of teachers is extremely high.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 169000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are being offered at my college with a package of 5 LPA average and the highest package was 22 LPA in 2021 it was a very good package and I loved this placement. And its placement team was also very good.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees was not hiking while I was studying for 4 years the fees remained the same and according to other college, fees is not too high because they were providing a good package so it was good and I didn't get any type of scholarship.

Campus Life

Life at college was very good it was such a pleasant place where the College is located it's having 5 blocks with a full air conditioner and its blocks was looking like a mall building it was a good place and I love it. There are sports facilities and also it had extracurricular activities for the students.

Admission

Yes, there was an entrance with above 70 % in 12th. The application form is on galgotias university sight u can go through it and can process it. The college provides scholarships also for those who want and are from reservations. No it's all good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Reality of Galgotias University

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Recently Infosys visited our college, however the average and highest package was not yet declared but we have heard rumours that the highest package is somewhat around 30 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is around 65%. My plans after getting this degree is applying for external placements as well.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

I got offer from Indian Institute of Technology Patna for pursuing Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science and Data Analytics. I studied there for 1 year and completed my Foundation degree and then left it as there was not much exposure due to the course being hybrid. The admission process for Galgotias is either having a valid JEE MAINS score or a good percentage in class 12th. The merit list is made on the basis of percentage (most students are selected).
