Likes

The infrastructure is world class equipped with latest and modern amenities.
The placement cell is well activated and they really provide good number of placements
The faculties are really good and experienced. They use best techniques for teaching.

Dislikes

The college staffs are very rude. Also, you are not allowed to unfollow any order of dean and others
Very bad course ciriculum.They finish semester in 3-4 months
Faculties are good in teaching but college keeps them changing which affects the course

Course Curriculum Overview

Good and well-experienced faculties having a Ph.D. level degree. They provide quality education to students and help them in the best way they can. But, some of the newly appointed teachers are not to the mark. Hope, they will improve in the future. Though the prior teachers were really helpful and qualified.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure seems very high for a normal middle class. It costs around 70k per year which is very high. The college does provide scholarships based on 12th marks (up to 25%). But this is only valid for 2 semesters. For next semester, it purely depends on your academic performance. Also, the college provides financial assistance through the e-Kalyan portal.

Campus Life

SBU is located in beautiful green lustrous campus of 60 acres. Every month, the college conducts atleast one cultural fest. The library is well equipped with books and you get enough numbers of books for study. The classrooms are big and equipped with latest modern equipments. College also conduct sports day in association with various cultural clubs like coding photography and arts clubs and business clubs.

Admission

Admission to SBU is not determined by any criteria. You just have to at least pass 40%(35% for the reserved category) with English and Maths as subjects. The admission form is available in both online and offline mode. After admission, candidates are called up for counseling and thereafter have to pay the semester fees.

Sarala Birla University is a nice choice for UG courses

Placement Experience:

When I went to college's orientation program, they showed a data in which more than 90% students placed last year. I don't know the exact but there were only few students last year but from our batch, the number of students increased hugely. So, I guess there will be an decline in placement ratio. According to college and some seniors, some big companies visited in college and they hire meritious students. Average package is around 6L which is decent.

Placements are really good for my department. From Semester 4 th you all are ready to get placed as company visits in an even semester. The companies visited are DeloitteUsi, Capgemini, Tcs, Wipro, EY, and Byjus many more...you just need to be attentive. The highest package till now is 10 lpa and the average is 3 lpa And there are placement coordinators who help you in guidance. Almost 75 to 80 percent gets placed with low to average packages.
