Likes

• A big lustrous campus of 60 acres and buildings equipped with modern amenities.
• We get the world class faculties and infrastructure. Also placement ratio is quiet good •
• Some of the best faculties which provides quality education to students

Dislikes

Very poor management. They don't provide a well managed course curriculum
The fees you pay doesn't offer that much quality of education which is below par.
Very high charges of backlog exams. Also, the level of exams is high according to study

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties members are the major cons of this college. Besides 2-3 teachers, almost all teachers are inexperienced and lack teaching skills. They teach only theoretically not practically. Also, faculties keep changing regularly. We had to give an exam for CSA without any faculty in the first semester. Hope, the college look after this problem in the upcoming years.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of this college are in the middle range. It is somehow high for a middle-class student like me. Also, their education quality is below the mark. The fee is around 80k for a year. Although college provides scholarships up to 25% for meritious students.

Campus Life

6.Campus The overall campus is big extended in 60 acres of beautiful and greenery environment. The college is divided into two blocks i.e Academic block and student block. The classrooms, labs, and libraries are equipped with latest modern amenities. Also, there is a small canteen and a mess which serves very costly foods.

Admission

I took admitted to SBU as I want to make a career in the IT sector by opting for BCA. My one of elder brothers completed BCA from here and got the placement. The admission process is simple. You have to just visit the campus and fill out the admission form. You just have to be the 12th pass for the BCA course. English should be one of the subjects in 12th.

There are two timing shifts of exam morning and afternoon shift , mba students may have 2 exams in one day . The curriculum does not prepares you for real world application's. Need some internships and industrial exposure through college

Sarala Birla University is a nice choice for UG courses

Placement Experience:

When I went to college's orientation program, they showed a data in which more than 90% students placed last year. I don't know the exact but there were only few students last year but from our batch, the number of students increased hugely. So, I guess there will be an decline in placement ratio. According to college and some seniors, some big companies visited in college and they hire meritious students. Average package is around 6L which is decent.

Placements are really good for my department. From Semester 4 th you all are ready to get placed as company visits in an even semester. The companies visited are DeloitteUsi, Capgemini, Tcs, Wipro, EY, and Byjus many more...you just need to be attentive. The highest package till now is 10 lpa and the average is 3 lpa And there are placement coordinators who help you in guidance. Almost 75 to 80 percent gets placed with low to average packages.
