Remarks

The best thing about the college is that they have vision and mission designed by the higher authority of the college which helps every faculty and student to work in the direction of success and also helps to make us work hard every day in order to achieve the vision and the mission of the college. I didn't join this college on my personal interest but later as days passed on and after i actually spent time in college i realized this was the best choice i ever made. This college gave me all that i could ask for inside a single campus from curriculum to extra curriculum and the placements are extremely good. So basically i love the two years that i have spent here and now hoping for more to come.

Entrance Preview

I got into this college by management process. I ended up joining this college because of my dad. There was no much interview process they just saw my 12th marks and gave an admission. I always wanted to be an aeronautical engineer. So i chose mechanical engineering so i can do my Master's in aeronautical.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Mechanical engineering being the core branch of the college it is really good and also we have been NBA accredited. There is equal importance given for both practical and theoretical learning. Yeah there are lots of research intiatives taken by the college. We have a R & D center in which we are currently working on 3d printing technique. And apart from that our research head owns few patents on his name.

Internships Opportunities

College does not provide any internship rather students only have to search and do their internships in their interested sectors.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are very good. All the students who have eligibility marks for attending the placemets gets placed so that is like alomst 70%. The major companies that visit our campus are Merchant Navy, Triveni turbines, Cab Gemini, HP and many more. Recently from mechanical branch alone 10 students got placed in the 1st drive itself for the package of 1.5 lakhs per month

College Events

4.5

An inter college cultural fest named chiguru takes place every year during the month of march and atleast a sum of 2000 students walk in every year. And there are Techno fests as well but it is only intra college. And the organization of every fest is done very well and the college do contribute for it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I got through the management quota and i ahd to pay a sum of 1 lakh rupees per anum for my admission which was not so easily but affordable by my parents

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah college does provide scholarships but i never applied for any but there are my friends who has got it. And it also help the students in getting loan for those who are in a real need of it

Campus Life

4

Equal importance for extracurriculars is given. The cultural and the techno fests are the best stage to showcase our inner talents. I was given a chance to perform dance in our cultural fest and also won in it. Facilties provided for all the extracurriculars are good.

Hostel Facilities

4

I don't reside in hostel. Hostel rooms provided for students are good and the girls hostel is being built with 3 star facilities and the boys hostel is just as good as any other normal hostels.

Alumni/Alumna

Student-alumni meet keeps happening once in a while which help us improve in various factors. This also contribute for the development of the college as our passed out seniors will help us in knowing the current corprate world.

Exam Structure

The exams and labs conducted neither make us feel tierd not let us chill out. It is conducted in regular intervals to record every individual's performance. And these records are used in enhancing the performance of every student.

Faculty

3.5

All the faculties are well trained and well experienced in their respective specialisation and they are really good at making students understand the topics at their best. All the classes that are conducted be very interactive any doubts will be cleared right there to its maximum extent. The standards of teaching is very good. It is Neither very high where students find it difficult to understand nor it is very low. They make sure every topic is being understood by almost every student at its level of standards.

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
