- The worst thing is that there is less connectivity for Internet near the university but they provide WIFI for each class
- It is very far away from the whole world and surrounded by jungle
- There is no avability of transport to leave the student atleast to Botanical Garden Station
Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to become a Software Engineer so I choose my course. As per my experience there were more than enough faculty members for every sections of each course. The faculty is highily qualified most of my teachers belong from IIT background who have done Phd or atleast Masters in there field. The exams were taken as per the AKTU schedule. The exams are quite simple for those who have studied well but some students as in my class have also failed or had back logs in few subjects.
Internships Opportunities
Galgotias University offer Internship oppturnities for B.tech student from 3rd Year of the course where the student can get hands-on experience of the current Industry. A student can earn from15k to 50k stipend based on there knowledge and skills
Placement Experience
The average package is around 8-10 lpa The highest package is of 1.5 crore. The placement rate is high and galgotias University helps you with internships from 3rd year of B.tech the also provide GATE help and studies for the students who wnat to persue Masters.
Fees and Financial Aid
When I took admission the tuition+exam fees were around 159000 + security and ID card charges it was almosty 162000. Galgotias University provides scholorship to student on merit basis, sports scholorships, foreign diplomats and to student with disabilities. The average salary is around 8-10 lpa but this year a student got a package of 1.5 crore.
Campus Life
The biggest anual fest is the UNIFEST but there are fests and celebrities coming in the campus once or twice every 2 - 3 months. There is a library in every building of galgotias University with computer systems if a student wants to use them. All the classrooms are air conditioned and there are projectors for the teachers to project presentations. There is every type of indoor and outdoor sport clubs in the university, and talking about the clubs there is a music club, Stage management club, Cam Circle, Dance Club, Etc.
Admission
For eligibility for B.Tech CSE one must have scored more than 50% in 12th Science stream. There are also merit based scholorships for the course : 1. Acedmic Achievement scholorships 2. Sports Scholorships 3. Diplomats Scholorships 4. Chancellor's Office scholorship (for person with disability) 5. International Event Scholorships 6. Merit based scholorships for JEE, CUET, CAT and 12th percentage basis.
