What Students Say

Likes

Good and well education is Given in the college.
Faculty are friendly and helpful in studies.
We have hospital visit to gain knowledge in patients.

Dislikes

Some classes are small which is uncomfortable.
External subject are not properly took in semester.
There is no proper communication between students and management ( delay information like exam date).

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good. The faculty are friendly in nature the teaching is Good in all subjects. I am interested in the medical field in that this course is more well-known and good so I chose this course.

Internships Opportunities

The internship is done in a hospital which is very useful in gain of knowledge to treat live patients which is very helpful in our future. We have to do a project or study in the final year of our academy year.

Placement Experience

There are placements in our college. Final-year students are eligible for the placement. Offers from the hospital. 200000 is the highest package I have a plan like getting my own clinic in my hometown and surrounding it.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee Structure is a little high compared to other colleges there are many scholarships available in the college and many people were getting benefitted from it. Scholarships are Preambular consumption, Puthiya thalaimurai.

Campus Life

Life on campus was Good and friendly. Annual fest and cultural are conducted in college. Book availability is a little low in the library. Many extracurricular activities are there like sports and culture and band.

Admission

The admission process was moderate level there is no entrance exam for the physiotherapy course but there cut of up to 64 percentage for admission for this course. The eligibility is a 12th-grade pass with above 60 percent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The physiotherapy has a wide range of opportunities after completing the bachelors either you can go for masters or work at hospital as physiotherapy or you can be working as an independent physio and treat the patients at their home, or you can start a clinic and can manage that. The physiotherapy is growing field that has a good future . You'll be good physio if you diagnose your patients correctly, if you follow the doctors prescription you will be technician. In this college the patients are less and the teaching quality is worst , you'll need to work at clinics to get a idea about everything. The college only teaches theory but not practicals

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was get to know about the improvement of the field of physiotherapy. Then I saw doctors can cure the cause but physiotherapist can rehab the patients and make the patients to live on their own. Physiotherapist are called as the muscle doctors. This made me to choose this course. The curriculum prepares us like teaching how to treat the patients and how to convince the patients and how to interact with them. So before treatimg the patients first we should have a well knowledge about the disease and subjects and basic anatomy. So they teach us very well and train us very well to give treatment to the patients. The exam are conducted 3 months once as 3 internals in the college and 1 university examination at the end of the year.

The admission process starts in April end of every year and stretches till September. The admission brochure and forms will be available only on SRMIST official website. Once filling out the admission form worth 1200/-, the admission procedure starts. Upload all the necessary documents in the portal of admission and wait for an entrance exam.
