Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this department because I was interested in physics. The faculties were well experienced and their coaching was also good. Most of the faculty had done Ph.D. in this field. One semester contains 6 months, after 2 and a half months we have 1st internal, and after 2and half, we have 2nd internals followed by end semester examination.
Internships Opportunities
In the fifth or sixth semester, every student is implied to do a group project or individual project under the guidance of the department faculties. College has offered internship opportunities to students in-campus and also off-campus.
Placement Experience
From the fifth semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Zoho, cognizant, MRF, etc. The highest package of this year will be 6LPA and the average will be 2.5LPA. 90 percent of students got placed this year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Per semester it cost 15000-18000. It varies according to the semester maximum up to 19000. There is scholarship like merit scholarship, scholarship for those who have income less than the criteria, and for students who belong to community SC/ST.
Campus Life
The library has a wide collection of books related to all departments and also journals. In every classroom, they provide a projector and classrooms have good ventilation. Students from 1st year are must enroll in part v club which will useful to students and also they will gain some credit points from it.
Hostel Facilities
In the hostel, per room, they allocate from 6 to 18 members according to the size of the room. The menu of the hostel food was slightly okay which was worth the fees. I have stayed all three years in a college hostel it's worth the money.
Admission
I came across the college website for the admission process. Eligibility for a UG degree is 10+2. We can apply through the college website and reserving through the application prior itself will made us more possibilities about the course that we decided to choose.
